Have you ever been so disappointed in a movie that you either left the theater before it ended or wished that you had? Have you ever been so bored that you fell asleep watching a movie?
I've never actually left a theater before the movie ended, but I wish that I hadn't paid to see some. Van Helsing really sucked and I didn't like Batman and Robin either. They were both just too long and boring for me.

The one movie I wished I had walked out of was Educating Rita. The film was okay, it just wasn'y my type of film. The two reasons I didn't walk out, one my mom liked the film and I was too young to walk out and come back to pick her up. Ever since then I would either see Roger Ebert and partner or I would really see the trailer well enough so I can tell if it is a film that I would like to see. These days it is rare to see a trailer for a film that I would like. The "Romantic Comedies" that come out each week I would hate.

do you ever have a chick flick girl's night in. Instead of romantic comedies, you watch movies like The English Patient, or The Bridges Of Madison County?

Yeah, we've done that too. We've even had a sexy man movie night and watched the new James Bond and Oceans 11. Both pretty good movies anyway but good eye candy too.

You know what you should do? Have a 80's teen movie night.Rent Sixteen Candles, the Breakfast Club, Pretty In Pink, and Dirty Dancing, etc. It would be fun.

nope, never left a movie before it ended. So far, even if the movie is boring, I'll just continue watching it to the end, while grumbling on how it was such a waste of money.

So funny, that's exactly what I do. I complain about watching it but I'm not going to fork over the money and not see the end of the darn thing.

That's the reason that I don't leave too. I've already wasted my money so at least I'll watch the whole thing. Then I'm mad I wasted my time though.

The only movie I've ever actually walked out on was The talented Mr. Ripley. It was sooo long and sooo bad, we just couldn't sit through the rest. There have been others that were just awful too, but that was the only one where we just couldn't stand to watch the whole thing.

Yes. I have experienced leaving a movie before it ended. What happened was that my friends and I were at the mall, we were just hanging out, talking a lot, having fun but then they just decided to watch the movie "Pirates of the Caribbean 3. Being part of the group, I just went off with them since they said that the movie is fun because of the guy named Jack Sparrow.. Yeah, i think that's the funny guy. I actually haven't see Pirates of the Caribbean 1 nor the 2nd movie because I wasn't and will never be interested in those pirate kind of movies.
After 30 minutes of watching the movie, I started to get bored and sleepy. I was even sleeping for half of the time that I was in the movie theater. After about an hour, I had it.. I was really bored and I can't stand watching those scenes which I just can't understand.. What I did was that I told my friends as an excuse that my mom wants me to go home immediately.. and so I went out of the theater with a smile on my face without even waiting for the movie to end. :_)

I didn't like that movie either but I watched the whole thing because the other two were so good. It was a sequel that really let me down, as most do. Good excuse to leave though. It was a really long movie to sit through.

It happened to me twice. The first movie I left before it ended was "Derailed" or something like that. The one with Jennifer Aniston. But those who watched this movie till the end said that it is good. And the second movie, I didn't actually left, but went out and stayed outside for half and hour and then came back. It was Apocalipto.

I happen to go to watch any movie which i feel can be viewed along with my family. I mean which i think i can watch with my children. So many a time i end up not loving the movie at all so i only have to wait for the show to end. But this has not stopped me from wathcing movies at the theatres and i try to watch all movies.

Hello maybebaby, Yes I have had some movies that I watch in cinemas and have left before it ended. I forgot the title of those movies but I know they are local drama and comedy movies that I have watch with my partner. Sometimes I am really bored with the movie that I would fall at sleep and my wife would wake me almost at the end of the movie. :-)

it happened to me too a couple of times. I hate to watch a very dragging movie that will make you feel very sleepy. So before it happened, I opted to leave the theater. There was also one time when my date sucks, he is just so arrogant. So, I just told him I suddenly don't feel ok and that I need to go home to have some rest.

Yes, it happened to me few times already. Because it is already too late and I need to go home. And the other thing is I still have other things that needs to attend to and my time doesn't permits me to finish watching the movie anymore.

I did disappointed by movies and I did leave the movie before it ended. However, I left the theater before the movie ended was not because of I was disappointed by it. Haha, sounds weird isn't it? I used to leave the theater when the movie disappointed my group of friends.

I haven't walked out of a movie yet. There were a few that were terrible and a waste of money. I hate to waste money, so read reviews before I see movies to try viewing less bad movies.

Well..It has happened to me a number of times that I left a movie in the middle because either it was too boring or too long.I didn't like Van Helsing either and neither of the Batman series.
