i realize that some people (not that many) in mylot never understand what is being said. i replied to one discussion and the person replied with a general response that sounds like the person knows what i was talking about. i replied again and another set of general in that region answer came back. i guess not knowing what a person says does not matter but as long as there is a reply to any response to their discussion. try it. make up one word and paste it in discussion. you are bound to get replies like "in know what you meant. there are so many ..blah blah blah".
makes me think, i would prefer no replies to my response to a discussion than to insult me with trying to sound like you know what i am talking about.

Hello sandwedge, you are right, some people don't know the meaning of "comment", according to them commenting boils down to praising and thanking, that's all. I doubt whether these people really read our responses.
I enjoy your responses, sandwedge, they are amusing and mostly humourous. I even remember having marked your response as the best one in my discussion titled "Do you laugh even when you don't understand the joke?". Are you aware of this honour?
I hope you don't let insulting remarks ruin your peace, just got to ignore, shrug them off. There are still many people in mylot who anticipate in a nicer way.

I'm pretty new to MyLot and I haven't started an awful lot of discussions yet. It's only been the last couple of weeks that I've been pretty active. All that to say no one's posted a whacky off-subject response so far. I'm kind of looking forward to it now. LOL. Have a great weekend.

Really, luckily, I don't have that kind of responses. And if I don't understand someone's discussion, I would just ignore it and don't give any reply:)

yeah..most of the time i gnore them too but once in a while i am tempted to ask "WTF are you talking about???". its rude but after one too many replies that has anything to do with the discussion, i just snap.

I totally agree. I have a lot of people leaving really random comments in responde to what I have posted. You know when people do that it is most likely so they can get their commentig count up...which kind of defeats the purpose of this website.

yep...they are here for the money..not the community. makes me feel bad each time i see someone reply for the sake of replying.

I agree... some people in myLot just have to reply on some discussion just to have a reply and that they increase their point fast. They seem to know what they are typing but in the reality of it, they do not. I guess all in mylot should put a relevant reply to any discussion and not just to think solely of acquiring many points or earning more by typing nonsense things.
