erm..most of the time, if it's below 50 bucks then i'll pay using cash. i used to have a debit card when i was studying in the UK, found that really cool and convenient, but it's not that popular here. i only use checks to pay for my credit card bills. .

Yeah I use checks mostly for bills, unless I don't have quite enough money, and know I will have some before the check clears.

I do prefer to pay cash for shopping or eating at a restaurant. I use credit card for installments purchases that cost thousands. I'm a little skeptical about using my credit card. one is that you may enjoy buying stuffs you want or needed but are you sure that you can pay for that when the bill comes. Sometimes we are overwhelmed to spend because we can buy anything but the down fall is you have a debt to pay when your salary comes. Sometimes payment is much higher than your salary. So i prefer to pay cash always cause you know how much can you spend.

I like to pay cash. Because It does not create the worries about less payment or the worries about remaining amount. Cash payment also does not claim markup, interest or other such expenses. Give with one hand and take with another one. There is no chance and fear of fraud in cash payment than payment by cards or checks. So I like to count , pay and buy the item, you paid for.

I always pay cash, because in my country, very few stores allow card payment, and none that I know of, checks. So I don't have much of a choice. Although I have a debit card that I carry around all the time, I must take cash from an ATM to buy stuff.

Wow that's pretty interesting. I figured a lot of places would be going to credit because it's so convenient.

I prefer paying using cash because there is no other hidden extra cost to pay the things I buy. I have a debit card but I only use it for internet transactions. If I go out shopping I feel it is more comfortable if I use money because once I have paid for it, I won't have to worry about paying for anything later like memberships payment for credit cards, etc. That's me. Have a great day!

I hardly ever have more then a couple of dollars in my wallet at a time. I live on plastic. my Check Debit card is my life. Credit cards are reserved for emergency's as we do not like to keep a balance on them. Writing checks just takes to long any more. So my poor debit card gets quite the work out as it gets a swiped so often.

Right now it is so popular to use credit cards to pay for things that we buy though you can do so if you like, but it is only in some very big shops. So still I prefer to use cash to pay for everything.

I'm always afraid I won't have enough cash and if I do and people see me with a lot of cash, it would scare me.

I like using cash because it is fast, but I like to use my credit card too because I get reward points when I use it. I hate checks! They take too long to write out and I mostly forget or lose my checkbook at home anyway.

Yeah I get reward points every time I use my Target Visa, once I reach so many points, I get 10% off at Target and then once I do better than that I get other stuff.

I use my debit card when buying anything. It helps me keep track of my money. I *tend* to overspend when I have cash, so it is much better this way.

I pay by credit card or Paypal because I shop through My Own Online Mall. That way I earn rebates.

For groceries and things like that i will pay in cash or anything else less than 70$ or so, and then gas and clothes and things that are more expensive I like to use my debit card.

I prefer paying with my debit card 'coz it's practical and I don't have to remember whether I have to pay my credit card company on a later date. It's deducted right away from my bank account.
I have no checks or credit card right now. I only pay cash when I buy some things at the flea market or open market.
