Yes... I usually watch the 6pm news & then a current affairs program at 6.30. I also read the local newspaper (if it arrives) I feel it's important to hear what's happening (unfortunately it can be all very depressing). I have friends from all over the world- so I like to know what's also happening in their part of the world. I also receive emails & read blogs - stock market etc to keep up to date with daily changes.

Good to see that someone actually cares about the world around them. Some people are so out of touch with the rest of the world, that they think it doesn't affect them. So they just don't worry about it or care to know about it.

Yep I just don't have the time for that, so I catch up when I'm online or watch Fox News.

Yes I do get the news every day, several times a day in fact because my husband is a "news junkie". LOL
There is always a radio on and so we hear the news every hour on the hour plus watch it on TV of an evening and probably half the week we also get the daily paper, so we are always up to date with what is happening in the world. :)

I don't watch the news, but its not because I'm self absorbed. I choose to not let myself be bothered by matters of this world. Its all trivial, really, in the scheme of things. I choose to put my energies and attentions into things that I can carry with me forever. News...is made to put fear into peoples hearts. I don't like that :)
