how to relax before you fall asleep?

I have insomnia, and I was wondering about some good ideas for relaxing so I can fall asleep. What helps you fall asleep?

ebizgold I keep a notebook by my bed & I write anything down that I know I have to do next day. I do some relaxation exercises. Open a window for fresh air. Make sure my covers aren't too heavy & I'll overheat.. this then wakes me up. Don't watch action movies...

Do any of you ever wash your clothes by hand? I do sometimes especially at my mother in laws house. She lives in the mountains in Mexico and they dont have washers and dryers.

ebizgold I quite often wash my clothes by hand... They last longer & by gently washing & rinsing & some clothese drip dry... you can avoid having to iron... now that has to be a definite bonus!
