The reading eyeglasses I am wearing now are not sufficient to protect me from the radiation emanating from the monitor of my PC. Actually, I bought an additional glare filter with radiation obstruction and attached it to my motior. It further eliminates the screen's reflex, the static in effect, abvoid UV's eradiates and lessen the hertzian wave's return of the monitor.

i haven't encountered such so far although i have my lights on all the time.
btw, another option i am doing is adjusting the brightness and contrast of the monitor. i have them minimized always.

yup i do know about this that these computers give out radiations and they are harmful for our eyes so i do prefer to keep a glass in front of my computer which protects our eyes from the radiations. It is good to be protective as eyes are very precious to us.
another way is that when you are stairing to a computer screen for a long time then you must close your eyes for 5 minutes or so then the eyes get rest and the strain doesnt come to our eyes that much.

You're right. Our eyes get strained and tired when we spend so much time reading, watching TV or staring in front of the computer for a long time. I don't have glasses that has radiation protection but I'm planning on buying one soon. Actually, I'm planning on buying glasses for my astigmatism but I will ask them to use a lens that would help to protect my eyes from radiation. You can also protect your eyes by taking vitamin C regularly and having enough rest.

Just keep looking at something far (more that 10 m) each hour, especially trees if there any. I used to be in CRT monitor 12 hours a day for years, and I don't wear glasses
