I am asking this because I am looking forward for my 500 mark.
Many of you enjoyed the copy & paste privilage. You can copy material somewhere else and paste it in your responses. So, what do you think:
is it good to be able to copy & paste?
do you like it?
do you use it always?
when you paste material does it increase your pay?
what is the best thing that you have everdone with this copy & paste privilage?

Mmm, the copy n paste that we talked here is the one that enjoy after you had posted more that 500 response in mylot. Given that you already posted more 1300 responses then you already enjoy this privilage. If you not aware of this privilage then it is about you can copy material from outside mylot and paste the material into your response. For example, I copy a material from internet and paste the material here in this response :
"Raghunandan et al. (2001) presumed that an internal auditor who act as a reliable partner to an audit committee are more likely to supply the committee with information that known only by management compared to an auditor who is unreliable to the committee"
This privilage make it easier gor you rather than typing everything. If anybody out there can provide cleare explanation then please help me here...

I really miss not having a Copy & Paste function! I like to write things in Word, so I can make corrections and improvements, and then transfer them over, but unfortunately I will have to wait till I read the magic 500 to do that! I think Copy & Paste would allow me to write longer articles, so I am looking forward to that!

I thought I would use it a lot and I dont now. I prefer to use my own owrds and views when posting here. There are times when I use it to post something I have found on the internet so I can give the writer credit when I post it. Otherwise it is just easier to type away.

I like having it and it does come in handy on the few occasions that I use it. I use it for such stuff as the names of tennis tournaments that have hard to spell(for me anyway) towns, etc. or players names. Once in a great while I will copy part of an article, maybe a few lines or one paragraph, just so I'm accurate in what I am referring to.

Yes I like it. Before I had to type my large dissertation responses here on the forum and one mistake meant it was all over. Frustrating stuff. Post 500 I was able to just go into Microsoft Word for the really long posts and just copy paste from there. It was also nice to not have to type out links to other sources, especially when I had a few to display.

It is alright if one lengthen a write up to make it more meaningful reading rather than for the sake of earning better, stuff it with undesirable statements and totally unreadable matter. I generally do not read such long paragraphs over computer whatever be the subject. 3 to 4 sentences should be sufficient enough to write responses. Even the discussion topics I keep it in 2 or 3 sentences. Secondly, originality is most important rather than copying someone's stuff and claim it as ours. This amounts to cheating.

I do not like to copy and paste unless when the response requires some authentic references. I make it a point to mention about the reference in the response so that the readers will know that it has been adopted from such an such site or author. Generally, mylot discussions does not require copying and most of the time, it is out of our experience or general knowledge, we can answer the discussion topic.

actaully i dont like those copy & paste thing, because we cannot learn by our self just to cheat, no problem if we cannot really explain or write in proper way atleast it come from your heart, not chaet.

I think you are misunderstood about the copy-paste privilage. Firstly it is allowed by mylot, so there is no issue about cheating. Secondly, also as long as you not claim that the thing that you copy is yours but you provide the actual source then it is not cheating.
the purpose of copy-paste privilage is allowed in mylot i think because mylot encourage people to share useful information. some information come from our own idea, and some good info come from others' ideas and knowledge. so, feel free to use the privilage in ethical way!

It is useful to have for certain things.
I use it mostly to copy my answer before posting it... in case myLot's system fail and I lose everything I wrote.
It is also handy to quote people or to post an article.
But on the whole... you won't earn more money unless you use it to cheat the system. And if you cheat... there is a pretty good chance that you will be reported... and your answer will be deleted.
So it is more for your convenience than to earn money. The reason why myLot made it 500 posts was in the hope that anyone who comes here to cheat... would not have the patience to make those first five hundred posts.

Promoting is good... as long as you don't post questions for the sole purpose of promoting.
Otherwise it is not promoting... but spamming... and you will be reported for doing so.

I honestly have never used it yet...I have had it for a couple of months, but was forced to give up internet access for a couple of months right after acheiving the 500 mark. But even now I am not using it either. Oh, well maybe someday.

I like the idea that we can easily post new discussions and responses to others' discussions using copy and paste priviledge. But let us not abuse the use of it. We should only did it if we think it is necessary. And not to gain more posts and replies. Personally, I feel guilty if I realize I am no longer being fair. I want a clean work here. I want to earn money on my own effort. And not resorting to the easiest but sometimes unfair way.

Yes copying and pasting is a great tool. KWhen I do a long response or discussion I like to put it on microsoft word so I can check my spelling and not loose the response wheich sometime happens. I like being able to past any links that I use for discussions. Its a great tool. But you have to be careful and not past whole articals.

I have already crossed that 500 no.!!
Yes copying & paste is a good privilage but it is of no use for me..!!
As whenever I am work in mylot I respond at that very moment when I read a discussion and I start a discussion at that very moment whenever I get a good topic. So I straight away type it in mylot!!
I don't like doing any homeworks....!! lol
I never used this privilage till this date.
:)

I think copy and paste is a great used. Expecially here in mylot typing area has no checking for spelling. So you can type somewhere else where there is a spellchecker and paste it afterwards. Having correct spellings for my own opinion can help you in your rating.
Keep posting and you will reach 500 posts, you are almost there.
And copy and paste is not the only feature available when you reach the 500 posts. You can also add an image when you respond to discussions. That means you can have more earnings.

Congratulations, you're almost on your 500th post!
It is of course wonderful to have a copy and paste feature, saves time and effort :)
I do the 'copy and paste' a lot in my other computer works. Not yet here in myLot, still have a long way to go before I get that :)
