My favorite flower is the sunflower. I love the big yellow blooms. They just make me happy looking at them. I also love that the sunflowers you plant in your garden will feed the birds over the winter if you leave some of the blooms on the stalk. I love watching the little sparrows, chickadees and finches perched on the stalks, picking out the seeds.

Black-Eyed Susans are one of my favorites. I love the way they grew wild in front of my grandmother's home. Another favorite is the bleeding-heart - which also grew wild in front of my great-grandmother's house. Finally, I love roses, which grew across my late father's back yard, because he loved them. Is there anything as lovely as a flower in bloom?

Jellen, here's a picture of Daisy when she was a wild kitten, hiding in the Black-Eyed Susans. She was such a precious, tiny kitten and the Black-Eyed Susans made such a fun jungle for her to hide in.

Its a toss up for me between SunFlowers and Irises. I love them both so much. When I lived in Texas I had a ton of irises in the back yard and used to love to see them bloom in spring. I guess you could almost have a favorite flower for each season, heehee. Thanks for asking.

Roses and, I don't know the English name, the purple rain.
Great collors and smell.
