hello friends, have you tried answering surveys online jst to make extra money or to get free stuff? do you think it is worth our time or not? It's been a few months ago since i started answering surveys, some are jst short questionnaires, some are long it don't bug me if they would jst me some questions but they want you to try their offers before you can have the free stuff or before you'll get credit on the survey. Later on i stopped, i realized that it's jst a waste of time since i can't reach the minimum pay-out cause i can't afford to join and avail the offers. Another thing is that all the survey is almost the same, they advertise the product and want you to avail their offers or free trials some requires credit cards to join. i hope there are jst real surveys that needs to ask a real questions about something without giving you too many offers that you need to join. Now, i am jst to reading emails to earn points cause i think they are not time consuming than answering surveys like this. Have you experienced the same thing? Have you tried answering online surveys? Do you think it's worth your time? tell us why :)

They are never worth the time, unless ofcourse they r paying u for it.. And I don't go for surveys which don't pay you.. I had signed into a survey programme some time back, which has been sending me online surveys to complete for which they wud pay me, and I constantly do that.. But I don't end up making money from all of them coz most of the time I miss them as they don't have any alternate option to remind me of the survey...

Yes, there are real surveys out there, but honestly I didn't find any yet. Well, I did, but the most I got was $5 a few times in a few years which makes it not worth.
Some survey sites are legitimate but reward you with points for draws and stuff like that. That doesn't work for me, after all if I was lucky in draws I would have won the lottery already LOL
I know that there are some survey sites out there that really pay on a regular basis but a lot of them are only for the US and others it's difficult to get to. I can think of one in specific - I think it's pinecone research - where every once in a while a link appears in random pages and sites to join them, but other than that they are never open to register.

Nice to see you too :) I have been a bit away ever since I got back to work, but I'm trying to at least spend some time here.
At first some survey sites used to pay even if it was $2 or $5 but now - specially when one doesn't live in the US - they're most changing to points, rewards and draws.

They aren't worth it. I have to sign up in th survey just to get money from them. I call this a scam or misleading. Its not like a survey you fill out with a piece of paper. It wastes alot of time.

i tried and it's not worth the time.
i also tried the email reading. that also takes too much time comparing the payout.

My boyfriend/husband has made a bit of money in answering surverys. I don't know which ones. I know he gets excited, like a kid at Christmas, when he gets a check in the mail. LOL

I just desperately need to get an online survey site that pay Nigerians to fill surveys.
I am really missing in on a lot of opportunities as a Nigerian. What a shame!!!!

Most of the survey sites don't pay at all in my country of origin. I don't think they need our ideas about the topics *LOL*. But I know of several people who could really reach payout and they're in the US, maybe that works there but not here.
I don't think it's a waste of time (provided they do pay). Because you don't really need to sit all day to answer those. You just sit when you feel like doing so or perhaps if you're taking a break.
Just like mylot, I think these should be treated as partime rather than for bread-and-butter. Plus, surveys are somewhat a no-brainer type of activity. *LOL*

Yes I do them. Though I am in Canada I don't get the amount the states do. It really picks up this time of year getting closer to christmas. This week I am product testing, on a study $30, received $50 I redeemed from one site once I got to the 1000 points. I did a survey today for $40 gift certificate to a coffee shop I go to. Yesturday I did 5 surveys for $5 gift certificate each Total $25 to amazon. This is very rare but every bit adds up. Not a waste in my views. Good Luck!

In my personal experience it has been a bit of a waste of time. I get at least one survey invitation per day through various sites and I never seem to qualify for the surveys themselves. It's kind of frustrating. I think that I would feel differently if I actually got to do the surveys because you can make some decent money for very little work. I know a lot of people who have made money doing them.

yes, some survey questionnaires won't let you qualify to win or get credit. that really sucks cause it is a waste of time filling up you profile info then in the end you are not qualified to take the survey. i understand that it's really frustrating when this happens. Godbless!

My own experience with online surveys is they aren't always worth my time. Most of the surveys I've received are looking for people in specific target groups. If even one of my answers doesn't match what they're looking for, the survey ends and I don't get payment/credit for it. I also didn't realize the "points" I earned with one company expire after a certain time, so I never reach the level I've been aiming for. The offers listed with many of the surveys are either for services I already have or those I don't want.

It's worth spending time on if you are sure that it's legitimate. And of course, it's legitimate if there's no requirement to buy/do anything before you respond if they find you to be a qualified respondent. I've tried answering surveys but gave up immediately because I felt that the sites that I joined in are not legit. I wish you the best in your online activites :)

I did a little for a little while.. then lost track of the whole thing, so I don't really know.. I did get promised and recieved a $10 debit/gift card for a particular survey... that's all the pay I know of, which actually wasn't bad for the mount of surveying I did.. I don't know why this particular survey gave the debit card.. Othersies I always just joined the 1000 dollar drawing they had.. Which didn't seem to come to anything..

For me it is not worthy at all, I think it is waste of time, I tried before but I never get something from this after joining and filling some surveys I find that most of the offers doesn't support my country and I never made a good amount of money from it, it takes me a long time to fill a long survey with no reward at the end, I think mylot is the better way to get money, good luck.

I won $50 with qualified opinions the other day. I was stoked! It's the most I've received so far for doing surveys.

Personally i think its a waste of time as you really never get anything worth while answering surveys its always offers for this or that and mostly never cash
