dual core 2

The latest computer came out it is dual core 2anybody using the dual core2 ?I want to purchase it but i dont know how far it is different from pentium4 I myself still using the pentium.

My computers don't have it, but I hear its pretty good. You need a good amount of ram though to really get the best out of it. Pentium 4 is more of a standard when comparing the chips while Core 2 Duo is for better performance and multitasking. Core 2 Extreme is for high end gaming being the most powerful chip out so far.
