What works for me is using one of those buckets that has a self ringer on it and a cotton mop. I get it really wet and half wrung out then slop it on the floor if you let it sit for a few minutes the water loosens up the tough spots (if your floor is like mine it will have really tough spots lol) then you can scrub it with the mop. I found a scrub brush on a long pole at wal-mart that works really well with the floor, I use it sometimes following it up with the mop head. I hope that helps, if I had to do it on my knees I would probably use one of those garden cushion things that looks like a cutting board only it is made out of foamy stuff.

Certain things, I do, whether I'n in the mood, or not. For instance, cleaning out my kennels and barn, every weekend, bed changing, every night, laundry, every day, etc. There are certain things, that I have to be in the mood for. I have needed to go through my clothes, for a long time, and get rid of the smaller ones, but I haven't been in the mood. lol

This is even funnier. I refused to allow my husband, to sleep with me, several years ago, because he refused to wear houseslippers, and wouldn't wash his feet, everytime he got up to pee at night. That was a good excuse to weed him out. lol

I have to be in the mood other wise I will bit*h and complain until I have a headache and everybody has moved to another state...LOL...When I get to cleaning I don't like to be interrupted. That even pisses me off more than the actually cleaning....I avoid it at all costs if I can...I have plenty of excuses not to do it...

The cleaning is certainly more thorough when I am in the mood formit. I can rip through the entire house in no time when I get the urge, otherwise it's a lot of stop and start and a pretty all around lousy job if I don't feel like it but know that it has to be done.

Hi terryz. These days, I really have to convince myself to do some cleaning first before I sit infront of the computer and start Mylotting. That way, I don't have to worry that the house is dirty and unkempt.
These days, usually I'm in the mood to do some cleaning especially in the morning and afternoon. But there are days, that I just won't budge!

Well Terry, I really need to be in the mood, or I am not doing it - as simple as it sounds. If it gets really dirty than my partner does it as he knows that I can't be bothered when I don't feel doing it. he works and I am working from home, but he still does a lot here, for which I am so grateful really, and am trying to help as much as possible to make his life easier too.

I'm always in the mood for cleaning. Actually, I can do it for a living... but I won't (lol). If I'm not busy with work I clean. Isn't it nice to see your place sparkling clean with everything organized in their proper places? The last time I cleaned, I think I've spent an entire day for it. My body ached for 2 days. I considered cleaning an equivalent to going to the gym. I love it when I sweat while I'm scrubbing the bathroom floor and walls. I feel complete satisfaction when I smell the scents of the detergents and disinfectants that I've used in cleaning. This could be a time of meditation too for me. As I clean, I'm left alone with my thoughts. I think of my plans for the future my goals and my aspirations ^^.

Any cleaning especially serious things get done on a whim by me. I get bored and start cleaning anything that needs it. I don't need a reason. I do this with a lot of things in my life. I am a very spntanious type of person and do many things suddenly for no reason. Now I am not helping you as I'm too excited from all the excitement/mayhem around my house this afternoon. HAHAHAHA! Have a great day/evening.

lol! if i waited til i was in the mood to clean, i dont think anything would be done in my house!
i work part time and get home in the early afternoon and my goal is to get one or two things done every day (whether i like it or not!) if i dont do a little something every day, my house would be a disaster area!! lol

I have been mostly cleaning all day because we have a houseful of company coming this weekend. My house is 4000 square feet of hardwood floors, and it takes forever to clean it. If I could just get my kids and my hubby to pick up after themselves LOL. If I am in a cleaning mood I am a lot more efficient than if I just know I HAVE to do it. Sigh.

Most often I just have to be in the mood to do it. But often times I find myself just having to do it and getting it over with, I will moan and groan about it for the first little bit, but once I start there is no stopping me! After I am done, I really like seeing my accomplishment.

I have no problems about cleaning floors Terry and I plan to drop by your house tomorrow to help you..LOL. Basically with any cleaning chore I just do it to get it over with..but I have to admit my fall cleaning thing is taking longer than expected...One task that I started to do is to clean out all my kitchen cabinets, and I have to admit I've been slow with it cause it means taking everything out and not only cleaning the cabinets themselves but all the things in it..every notice how after awhile everything in the kitchen gets a coating of grime? Especially the chinaware..yuk..so not too keen on doing that--I managed to clean out one cabinet completely with all my gourmet cooking stuff..managed to even throw out some old things no longer useful--The hardest job will be taking out all the cookbooks I have in the cabinets...yeesh, I DO have a collection! Want to help??

Hi terryz. Well, I don't really "ask" my mood for doing anything. Haha. I mean if I know I have to do then I will just go for it no matter how. For cleaning, I guess I have to do everyday, things like sweeping the floor, tidy up my desk and blah blah blah..No choice, I can't stand messy environment.
Anyway, I like your display picture which is a cute innocent dog.
