These days when mobile vendors are including more functionalities in the mobile phones and making it more useful day-by-day.Peoples have already started using internet from their phone, although its much supported.although, the mobile phone are much more handy than a Laptop, but they can't provide all the functionalities. What do you think that,in future, mobile would replace laptops(or computer in general)??Cheers,

Yes, now a days these business phones have made a huge difference. And since they are more handy than the laptop, people tend to use the business phones more than laptops.
Right now mobile phones are not in a position to provide more functions as a laptop does but in future, since the technology is improving so much, mobile phones will have all the features that a laptop has and it can replace the laptops easily.

I bought a laptop for all the things I do on a computer and can do with it on the go. My cell phone is a phone so I look for a phone that has the best quality in regards to call quality, battery life, worldwide usage, and text messaging.

I too feel that there should be a limit in one direction. There are lot of things that we expect to experience in a 13-17" display rather than in that small 128x128px mobile phone screen. Even the keyboard is replaced using a light projection on the desk, it is hard to imagine how it can provide the comfortable feeling of a keyboard on lap. like wise there r lot of things that we will always love to keep as it is in a laptop. on the other hand same situation with mobiles, most of us love the compactness and lightweight of a mobile phone for the sake of carrying with our vital data indexed and stored( i mean the list of contacts, reminders, pics etc.) if thing become complex with laptop features on phone, then i feel we will not enjoy it either as a phone or PDA. on the other hand there is the cost matter.

In my opinion, if a gadget have lots of features in one unit, and this unit is so compact so that it could be considered handy, then this kind of gadget is definitely not durable. If we place the features of a single laptop to a mobile phone, merging it is not a good idea at all. Consider the cost of one mobile phone (with lappy feature), it will be super expensive! But the question is, is it worth it?

I have a laptop, a good cellphone and an iPad. But most of my computer work is done on my laptop since I find it easier to use. For communication and text messaging, it's my cellphone and for browsing, checking mails, I use the iPad. Practically it's gadget have their own advantage, so it all depends on how comfortable I am.
