Had you ever encountered a situation when you happen to meet strangers in a bus or train wearing exactly the same type, color or style of garments that you were wearing? Well, I was traveling in a train this morning and I met a person wearing exactly the same color and style of shirt which I was wearing! I was very surprised and at the same time I felt very awkward. If you had similar experiences, please share with me. How did you react or feel about it?

I had that experience once on New Year's Eve of all times. We were out and I had on a pretty dress. I was in the restroom of the restauramt and a woman came in with the exact same dress only a slightly different color. Ugh. I wanted to be unique and now I had to share the place with someone in the same dress as me. I left the restroom and a bit later she came out and she had mistakenly tucked her dress into her pantyhose and her whole butt was on display. For some reason, that made me feel better but I also felt for her too. Anyway, no one much noticed the dress situation but me so that was good. I think they were too busy stifling giggles about her tucking her dress into her hose. Poor woman. That's much worse than knowing you have the same party dress on as someone else. And she knew THAT too. She was pretty drunk so I don't even think she cared about any of it.

Thank you for sharing your interesting encounter :D Oh dear, that must be very embarrassing for the other drunk lady if she found out later. Did anyone tell her about her exposed butt or try to dress her properly ?

Yes, the other people in her party helped her straighten out her dress. I doubt she remembered it the next day but many in the resturant did. lol.

yes! i've encountered this before! on few different occassions, i saw someone wearing the same particular shirt that i was wearing. once, i was even wearing that same shirt! so i just turned away and pretended like i didn't see that person. after that, i've decided to not wear the shirt anymore and have given it away. good riddance! lol.

I agree with you that we will feel better if we turn away from the other person who wears the same as us. Yes, it is good to give away or get rid of the clothes which we do not want to wear anymore. Hope you will have more beautiful and unique garments in your wardrobe so that you will not meet those who wear the same as yours.

Good for you if you do not have this problem. If two people wear the same clothes, maybe one of them will look better than the other person.

several months ago, in the classroom, a person caught my eyes----she just wear the same cloth with me. the only difference between hers and mine is maybe the size. worse still, she just sat in front of me. my face turned red when i realized what happened and i felt i was not myself the rest of that class and i felt like to flee. from that moment on, i rarely wear that cloth.

Yes, i had experienced that once. I'm with friends doing some shopping in a mall. there is this lady who's wearing exactly the same shirt that i'm wearing. It's ok with me if it's an organization shirt or the like but its a shirt i bought in one of the boutiques in our place. After the incident, i never wear that shirt again. i gave it to one of my cousins. i just don't like the idea of having a lot of people wearing what i'm wearing...lolz...

Right, we should be careful in selecting and buying garments especially if they are mass produced. I don't like to be seen wearing exactly same garments as others especially when they are near me.
