You Always Need Your Mom

My mom passed away 13 years ago from pancreatic cancer. Even though, it's been years now, I still feel the strong need to talk to her, to ask her advice, to lean on her, to hear her voice. I have four children of my own and I understand more and more each day how important she will always be in my life. I find myself getting jealous when I see other daughter's with their mom's sharing a conversation. One of the things I miss most about my mom, is how she always bragged about her kids, exaggerated as it may have been, the uncoditional love she had for us was so powerful and added so much to our confidence and pride. I miss her sooooo much. What do you love most about your moms?

I love that my mom has so much strength of character and will. We haven't always had the best relationship, but through it all this woman has persevered through so much. Her strength is what keeps her going even when she thinks she can't. I really admire that about her. I don't like thinking about my mother passing on, but I know it will happen eventually. I will miss her deeply. I miss her right now because we are ten hours apart and we don't see each other frequently. I can't imagine how you feel losing your mom. I know it has to be hard, mothers and daughters have the strongest bonds of any relationships.

i love that no matter what i did or have done, my mother has stood by me every step of the way. mothers will walk to the end of the earth on broken glass barefooted for their children. the love is unconditional and there is no bond like that of a mother and child.

I'm so sorry about your mom. But I can understand how you feel at this time. Even my mother still alive, I'm now living very far away from her. So I couldn't see her whenever I miss her. Even sometimes we also had a fight when we were near to each other, but when we are far away like this time, I need her to share few things in my life. The only thing that I can do is just to call her on the phone, so we can talk about few things in life. She always remind me to be stronger if some thing bad happen in my life. She is the best mother for me.

Hi summer. It's sad to hear that from you. Yea, a mother means more than everything to us. What I love most about my mom? Haha, I love everything of hers! If really have to name one of them, guess it will be the patience. A mother will be the only one that will never give you up, do you agree with this? No matter how wrong are we, no matter how far we are, she will be there waiting you to turn back to the right path.

I'm sorry to hear that, summer. Well, at least you had a WONDERFUL Mom once. Not everybody has wonderful Moms or have a good relationship with their Moms.
My Mom's now FAR away in Indonesia (now I'm living in Finland). What I love most about my Mom is that she's ALWAYS positive and supportive. She even supported my marriage even though she knew I had to move far away from her. She even managed to convince my Dad (who were worried about my going away so far) that I'd be fine and that what mattered most was my happiness. I LOVE the fact that she's always supporting my dreams.
Well, Summer, hope as time goes by, your pains will lessen bit by bit...
