Who is a possible candidate for the Golden boot award on Wenger's Team?

Looking at the way the gunners are playing, who do you think will take the golden boot award? Who is a likely candidate for golden boot award this season?

I bet most people would answer Emmanuele Adebayor. But for his consistency and role, I think Robin Van Persie is more likely to challenge for the Golden Boot Awards. He scored in consecutive games while Adebayor haven't find the net since his hattrick against Derby a few weeks ago. Furthermore, Van Persie is the official penalty-taker for Arsenal, that should be an advantage.

I also thought so but I agree the man can be a disaster sometimes-if he works on his consistency, I believe he will do well, but Frabrigas should not be ignored because the guy is almost involved in every goal!

well .. its gonaa be .. a tough competition between adabayour , van persie and fabregas .. fabregas has been scoring goals .. van persie .. scored in the last 3 or 4 games . n adabayour also has been scoring goals . but i would vote for van persie . he seems to have more hunger for goals this season :D

Robin van Persie......maybe with the form Cesc Fabragas is in maybe he has a chance!!! We gona take the title this season guys and girls!!!

The way Cesc is playing you couldnt rule him out for being up there at the end of the season more likely to be a forward but still cant rule him out.

It is too early in the season to really be thinking of Golden boot award this season. One of the key points for Arsenal this year has been goals from midfield, so it is not that a striker is scoring all the goals. So the goals are going to be distributed and it is difficult for a single candidate to emerge. I think the likes of Torres, Santa Cruz, Drogba have a better chance of getting the golden boot rather than anyone from the Gunners. Even with this start, the goals have been shared between Fabregas, Hleb, Adebayor and Van Persie!! Cheers! Ram
