What a THRILL!!

We went to Cedar Point today. We rode the new roller coaster "Maverick" for the first time. It was okay and all, but nothing will ever beat the Millenium Force! We rode that too. We also rode the Raptor, Disaster Transport, Gemini, Magnum XL, Wicked Twister, and the Skyhawk (2 times). I got to have my french fries with vinegar. They were so yummy.
It was Halloweekends, too. We went through 2 haunted house type things and through the Fright Zone. The Fright Zone is an open area outside, that starts at dark. There's lots of fog and creepy lights. So, you're walking around blindly, and all kinds of monsters jump out at you, from nowhere and scare the BeJesus out of you! It is so much fun!
We had a great day! Have you ever been to Cedar Point or Halloweekends?

I've never been there but it sounds like fun.I've only been to Kings Domininion,Busch Gardens,Six Flags and Ocean Breeze.Cedar Point is somewhere to think about for next Summer.Great you had alot of fun.We have to enjoy ourselves.

At my country we haven't Cedar Point but some others like these.The last time I visited was 1 year ago at Egypt this time.There they are many and some of them very big.All the names has to do with the word *land*,Magicland,Jiroland,dreamland ...etc.When I go I'm more child than all the children.We use to buy A free day past so we can enjoy each one as many times we want and spend all the day there.......

I relate very well to feeling like a child at the amusement parks! I would like to take off running, but, believe it or not, the kids don't! And I don't want to run by myself! Very exciting...

Wow! sounds like you had a ball! You are so lucky! It sounds like a great place for a family to enjoy. I haven't ever been there at all, but it would be awesome if I could take my children to a place like that. I am so Glad you had a great time. Vicki

Im a roller coaster finatic!! Oh my goodness, I just love them. I could ride them all day long. Never get tired of riding them over and over again either.
You know I have a dream of one day being able to travel and ride every coaster I can come across, that means the ones over seas as well. Whenever TLC or Discovery show episodes on Roller Coaster or Amusement Parks I watch them with such intensity. My hubby laughs at me. It like Im a kid all over again.
I cant ride any other ride that flips you around or anything. If its not a coaster I will get sick. Isnt that odd? lol

Some of the lines get rather long at Cedar Point, due to it's popularity. But, these rides are so worth the wait to me! I watch the Amusement Park epidsodes, too, on The Learning Channel and Discovery Channels. You can also see them on the Travel Channel! Even though I've been there hundreds of times, I still watch! Hope you get to ride a coaster soon!
