We go to the gym, buy exercise equipments, maintain a daily routine...for what? What are your reasons for doing all these things? Is it just a hobby that you would like to do regularly? Are you just keeping up with the latest trend or you want to exercise just because you think it's necessary. Please share your thoughts.

We should always keep ourselves physically fit, as this will help make us strong and healthy.
It is not a hobby, actually. We do this to prevent ourselves from having heart problems.
By way of exercising, we burned cholesterol and calories, which is very good.
Have a nice day and God speed!

We work out for the many health benefits. High blood pressure, heart disease, and diabetes are among the things in my family history. I feel it is important to work out to prevent having these same problems. Plus I have so much more energy and am in a better mood when I work out regularly.

I exercise to stay fit and healthy. Also so my muscles will not tighten up, and then I will find myself not being able to do simple things in my life. I would like to be strong and healthy as I age. That way I can do more as I age. I also like to look good as well. It also keeps me active, and gives me energy. It makes me feel good about myself.

Sometimes its for vanity (and that varies). Other times its for the health. Having a sedentary lifestyle and poor diet leads to various body complications like hypertension, arterialsclerosis, obesity, enlarged heart, and much more.

I personally want to be happy with myself. I lost 70 pounds last year. I was not happy with myself when I was 70 pounds heavier. It is a state of mind for me.
