Hi!All
When I was young, I said to my parents that I wanted to be a scientist. When I went to the primary school, I wanted to be a useful man for our country in the future. My dream was to be a chemist when I was in the middle school. When I was in the university, My favorite job was to be an engineer.
Now, my dream is to be a successful man. What's your opinion of it?

My favorite job is something to do with design, especially fashion design. A designer is an engineer of beauty. He can make any isperation of his mind come true and enjoy it with others. No fixed worktime. Work anytime when he has idea. Of course, the pay is well. For me, it's still a dream. :D

Hello taskata10.
I think that's a common psychology of men about careers. When they are young, they are idealistic. They want professions such as medicine, to help others they say. In middle age, they want to become rich, their focus now is better life for themselves and their family. In their old age, they want something that would give them self-esteem and respect by others. They maybe would want a managerial positions for they want people to respect them for their knowledge and experience. As for me, when I was younger, I'd like to become a nun ( a woman of religious order), so I can serve men and God. Now I want to become successful business woman so I can provide well for my family. When I'm older I would want to be respected in the field that I chose. :)

i never thought of which kind of job i would have in the future when i was young, i just studied hard because if i do so i will have more chances to have a good job. after graduated from senior high school, i chose a medical college hoping to be a doctor. however, as you know, medical students must learn much more lessons than other subject, but they could not find a better job. so i become a teacher now.
