I think it is a good idea for cutting onion

HAHAHA.I finally found someone like me!!Thats so funny,because its my daughter that told me to do this one time(shes 4 1/2 years old and plays with them alot) and it really works.I might look silly and my boyfriend finds it funny to look at.Im like a mad scientist,hahaha.I have purple trimmed ones,what do you have?;)

I wear regular glasses anyway, so haven't really had a problem. Before I had to wear glasses, I used to cut onions on a cutting board in the sink, with the water running. It seemed to work.

Hi there. When preparing onions, I usually peel them and then cut off both ends and squeeze them under running cold water for a bit, then I start to chop them, this works for me, as I dont like to get the stingy watery eyes...

I have also heard that if you wash your onion and hands you won't have the problem.
