I am not a picky eater for the most part. There are certain veggies and fruits I won't eat. And I"m not a big fish fan, but otherwise I'm good to go. My husband refuses to eat soup. I haven't seen him eat a bowl of soup in the almost 7 years I've known him. He also is not a big fan of veggies. I have to tell him to set a good example for our 5 year old so that he will eat them. lol

I am really picky. There are so many things I don't like, that I wouldn't even begin to try to list them all here. lol For the most part, my husband will eat just about anything you put in front of him. Peas and tomatoes are the only two things that I can think of off the top of my head that he doesn't like. And he will eat both of them as long as they are cooked in something.
As far as my son, he's not nearly as picky as I am. He's picky about what kind of cheese he will eat. As far as just eating a piece of cheese, he will only eat ColbyJack. He will eat other cheeses if they are mixed in a food, but sometimes on pizza, he pulls the cheese off if I don't make it at home with his favorite.
He is also picky about lunch meats. Roast beef is the only one he will eat. And he will only eat it on a sandwich with colby jack and miracle whip.

I live alone, but when my parents, sister and I all lived together, there were some things no one ever bought because we knew no one would eat it, even if it was on sale (although we did eat shark when it was on sale). My parents never bought fish either, although I would have eaten it. They might eat it at a restaurant (might), but they can't stand the smell at home. Another thing was baked beans. I've seen my dad eat them at a BBQ, but that is the only time any of us ate them.

Well, I don't onions, mushrooms, hot peppers or bell peppers. I don't eat any fried meat and very little fried food at all. Hubby loves all of these things and anchovies and sardines which I also won't touch. He's not big on things like cereal, ravioli's or canned soup which I like all three. Most of the time we have seperate meals at mealtime.

What Laurla? Only one or two? Man I can feed an army with what my kids won't eat. The only thing my husband doesn't eat are beets, but it would take forever to list all that my kids don't eat..lol

Hello Laurla98.
I think I can eat pretty much anything as long as there is no curry flavor. I really don't like the taste and even the smell of this even while the food is still being cooked. I know a lot of people who likes curry very much but I'm not fan of it. I wish I can enjoy that food as well but I cannot. The other thing that I don't like is, well its not a food but a drink -- milk! I also cannot take the smell of milk! I would vomit if I drink even just a spoonful of it. Sometimes I'm in the verge of vomiting whenever I prepare my child's milk. Good thing their milk brand now don't smell so much like the regular milk. I wish all food/drink tastes like cake hehe!!

We all have some veggies that we don't like. But the rule at home is you have to eat a atleast a little bit of everything (even if you don't like it). Before I was married I never like aubergine...but it's my husband's favourite and I've got used to it now and love it. So, I insist my kids don't fuss about food and have a little of everything. I respect the fact that my son doesn't like something and give him a very small portion of that particular food. But he cannot get away with 'I won't eat this'.

It's just me and my husband now, and while he claims not to be a picky eater. He eats no cheese whatsoever, no sour cream, no milk...and don't try to sneak it in on him, he will know. He will eat pizza if it's not too cheesy, and he loves homemade ice cream, but that's the ONLY time he gets anything of the sort. I eat most anything, I do not like liver, onions or seafood. Oh I love soup, especially a good homemade pot of chicken vegetable or vegetable beef soup! Yummy.

Oh boy let's see. I can't narrow it down to one or two things though. None of us like fish of any kind. Liver is definitely out. I can't stand anything from Chef Boyardee, just the thought of it makes my stomach queasy. My husband and one of my sons won't eat peas at all. They just don't like them. I love peas and so does my other son so it's kind of funny how that happened. Our youngest will not eat anything orange. I'm hoping it's a stage because the rest of us like carrots but he can't even stand to look at them right now so I can't buy them.

No beets, okra marachino cherries or oysters for me, all else is fair game. My nephew will not touch anything green! He is a very picky eater. He'll eat oly a very few vegetables at all. And no sense of adventure, he will rarely try anything new. We cannot blame his dad cause my brother will eat anything too.
Oh, my goodness, 7 years and no soup!?!? You poor dear, you must invite a friend for dinner and tell hubby he/she wants homemade soup!! lol. I'll do it! I must have my soup! It's a favorite food.

One of the things that my familly is really fussy about eating is a veggy called bitter gourd. Its so bitter that you cant even touch the tip of your tongue to it.You can make a good crocodile out of it though if you are good at vegetable carving.

Our family doesn't want all kinds of bitter and sour foods. We all love to eat sweets or salty foods. I personally enjoys eating chocolates, cakes, ice creams, banana, mango, jackfruit, and atis. My children ae just beginning to like it,too since they are still small. My husband likes salty foods. And my children are beginning to like it,too.
