I have asked a lot of questions on myLot.
I sometimes even do searches here on topics that I am interested.
I haven't completely replaced my regular online research, but a good bit of what I'm interested in, I can now find out about in myLot.
Recently, I did a post about back pain. I learned serveral great suggestions on how to treat backpain.
I've asked how people teach multiplication to their children. Again, I recieved a lot of great information.
I have also learned about Associated Content...and Yuwie...and a few other sites that I would not have know about if not for myLot discussions.
What are some of the most useful things that you've learned while in myLot??

Well the most important thing I've learned here on myLot, is that there are some interesting, friendly, and informative people on here! The money has nothing to do with it!
I have exchanged ideas with other guitar players on here, and have learned some interesting information!
I have learned some useful information on wills and trusts that is good to know, and information about investing, and saving, and finance, which are my favorite interests!
And the most useful information, that I have gotten on here is the feelings of relationships, from both sides of the spectrum, men and women! And these are important, because these discussions allow the person to "vent" their true feelings!

I have learned a lot here in mylot. Just reading alone on the discussions, different opinions, views and thoughts aready enhanced my own point of view. It enhanced or deepened my knowldege, understanding and respecting different cultures and beliefs. Some posted recipes are saved for future use. Others posted different earning sites to consider.

Hi friend. There are lots of useful things that I was able to learn and enhance while here on mylot. I have learned many things. I was able to obtain relevant information which is very important and useful for future reference.
Since being here, I was able to know more about different cultures and distinguish them to other races as well. I was able to enhance my ability to speak out my own ideas and to share my own thoughts, which have been helpful to other mylot members.
Being here is so great! I can totally say that you will learn something here and you can use this in the long run of your life. There are some good lessons that you could get here. Otherwise, mylot is an interesting place to mingle with other people around the globe. God speed!

Other than living in the US, I have only visited one other country, that is Canada. I have learn to respect and understand people from all countries. In many ways, we share the same things in all areas of life. Contrary to the crap we see on TV, in the news or in the movies, I now respect people from other countries so much more than before. I don't hate anyone, including the "bad guys". I am much more accepting of others from interacting with them here on this site. I understand much more the everyday struggles that we all encounter at one time or another. I have given up being judgemental, since I cannot know somebody else's truth until I have walked in their shoes. The key to making things great for everyone is to live in harmony and peace and do whatever it takes to make things work out and make life more pleasant for all people on this earth.

I was always curious about the red dot that some Asian Hindi women wear so I asked on MyLot and got an answer.

I have found most of all, that there are so many wonderful people in the world. I have met people from different states, and different countries. I've learned that I like my online friends, as well, or sometimes, better than the ones that I have met. I would like to think that I would like most of them in person.

I've learned that rotten doctors are universal. Also that good doctors are universal. So everyone there are some of each.
Before the anti-recipe rule, I got some terrific recipes.
Before the anti-joke rule, I got more laughs.
I've learned that most people are here to encourage you. I've been encouraged.
I've learned that lightening does strike twice in the same place and even hits some people more than once.
I've learned about cultures all over the world and made friends from all over the world.

The most useful thing I learned on mylot is that everyone has a opinion and you can find out the answer to most questions by simply starting a discussion!
