What do you do when you just need to take a break?

Every now and then, I like to take a break from my daily routine. For me, relaxing and enjoying at the same time if it were during the daytime is strolling around in a mall, or having a nice cup of coffee in a coffee shop. I would just sit and relax and take my nice sweet time away from home or work. On the other hand, if it were in the evening, I like to going to a bar for a few hours, listen to jazz, piano, or any instrumental music. Last night we went out, listened to some music and had a few bottles at a place called DKR Grill. I really enjoyed the evening, it was relaxing and definitely stress-releasing! Here are a couple of pics I took of that place we went to last night http://www.paulynramirez.com/a-lovely-evening-together/ Do you enjoy the same thing I do?

Hi friend. That is really a relaxing method of releasing your stress and enjoying yourself when taking a break. Well, for me, I just go out with my friends and other colleagues and have something to eat at a Grill or Fast Food Store. We usually buy something to eat, as this will help re-energize our mind and body from work.
Sometimes, we used to go to places where it is quiet and very relaxing, like going to a park where there are exotic animals and other species that would make yourself alive and will help relieve the stress that you have.
Going to places where you can have a cup of hot drinks like coffee is also our one option of relaxing ourselves from stress and pressure.
At home, my way of method to relax my mind is to sleep for longer periods of time. LOL.
That’s it. Have a nice day and God speed!

Every now and then Deck and I take a break by drinking coffee at Figaro near our house. We enjoy chatting while sipping a hot or cold coffee. It's a cheap way of taking a break from all the stress.

I enjoy staying in high places. With nice environment and views. That way I can breathe deep and feel relax.

I go out malling. With my kids, with my firends, or sometimes even alone. I stroll around, see new things, new events, new movies, dine in, and sometimes go to amusement centers. I find all the "new" and "enjoyable" things and activities because it helps me forget all my burdens.

Oh I could really use a break right now from my work. Not a good day for me today. I would usually meet up with my friends or just stay home with the family/friends. Usually, my favorite when I am stressed out is watch movies with my BF and/or have a massage on the back.

As I am working most of the time, taking a break could
be in different ways, yes, one of them is strolling in
the mall while buying some good stuff.Taking a break
for me is also mental, physical, and spiritual. Also
I have a few very absorbing hobbies which are very relaxing and rewarding.Time out, is relaxation time,
and I sometimes just sit down and do nothing but
drink tea and quiet my thoughts.

When I need to take a break, I've got three options.
1. When I'm so stressed out, and just need to lie down but don't want to sleep, I turn on the DVD player and get my horror movie collection.
2. When I get bored with the movies, I turn to my collection of romance novel pocketbooks. I've collected them since I was still in grade school and I'm still adding some more to that collection. I even re-read some of the books that I just loved the story plot.
3. When my mind is tired from thinking, and I just need to do one thing without straining my brain cells, lol! I go to our large yard and get the mower.

A cup of tea or coffee is definitely a refreshing one. I like it. Walking in fresh air away from hectic day to day schedule will be more relaxing for me. Such places are near my city and I do take advantage of it. It is sometimes necessary to keep the mind empty to get relaxed.

I'll either put on some music and read, or I'll watch a favourite dvd. Other times I'll write (even though that's often what I'm trying to get away from!)
Being a freelance writer, if I need a break, instead of writing about a commissioned topic, I'll write about something that I want to, whether it's just updating my blog, writing here, or jotting down ideas for articles.

I just go to my spot in my favorite Starbucks branch. I could unwind there by bringing a book or my phone with some music or videos.

What do i do?
For that there is one answer , everybody should have a hobby...
Having a hobby make us feel good , makes us forget about the less pleasant moments in life.
Everybody needs a few ours just for himself, and i t5hink that no matter how busy, you can still find time to do whatever you like the most.

Well i sleep...i know sounds stupid answer for the question but from my point of view...well I am insomnic...i rarely sleep and I get really tired at times...so the only break is to lie down and try to get some sleep somehow...cos even coffee breaks dont seem like breaks when i am really out of juice...

I just go for music. I have different types of recordinngs for Indian light music. Especially I enjoy listening to the instrumental music. Many a times I enjoy going away from the city area into the natural beauty. Just go and sit on the river bank or spend some time on the hills top etc. But these thing require time. If I cannot afford to spend more time for getting a break then the best alternative is my music...and some times playing Badmington.

After a long while of being a human. I also don't know how to relax myself. I think the best way to relax myself is to find a boy or girl friend that can really match and have the interest with you. And then go to a peaceful and nice place to have a nice rest. Go to beach is always the choice. Human like sound of nature.
I hate entertainment that is so annoying and noise. I hate to go to disco, pub, karaoke and all the human entertainment. It was so bored for me.
