I am a little confused. New episodes of Deal or No Deal are running right now on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Tired of it? Not a chance! I tape it when I can't watch it. I think it is always different because they have different surprises for their contestants that make the show interesting. And the different contestants bring out Howie's great sense of humour. I love this show.

I'm sorry to have confused you, but you figured it out. I am glad you are still liking Deal or No Deal. First, NBC/GE needs a hit! but seriously, it is a show the family can watch together and have fun with, which is something I like. But for some reason, I have tired out on Howie, in particular, and on this show as well. May be I'll take a new look at it this week (now that I know it is back on!!!)

I missed the different surprises for the contestants. I must have been yawning while waiting for them to reveal the case or the bankers offer or their decision. It was moving too slow for me, I would end up changing the channel.
I agree it was exciting at first, but after so many shows I dont find much interest in it anymore.

I have to admit that toward the end of the season I was getting bored with the program. The new season just started and I can't wait for it to come on every Wed. and Fri.
I think Howie Mandel is one of the most talented comedians. His material is hysterical.

I can take it or leave it myself but do enjoy watching this show every now and then. It's fun to play along..and say "what if!". My husband on the other hand, loves this show and could watch it every night if given the chance! I'm sure he will be more than ready for it to come back next summer.

At first it was kind of fun to watch, but now I see it as the only people that are really going to enjoy the show are the people in it. Must be nice to get thousands of dollars offered to you! The ones that I think are the funniest are the ones that pass up 200,000 dollars just to walk out with 50 bucks because greed got the best of them. I would always laugh when someone would make that mistake!

Yes I did! LOL
The one thing that drove me crazy the most, was how long they took to reveal something. I mean c'mon! Suspense is one thing, but this was rediculous!
The most entertaining thing was the contestants because they were so strange and brought strange people right along with them.
The little bit of hair on Howies chin was just hideous, it made me feel like I had a big bug crawling around on my screen as he moved about. lol Didnt go well with his shiny bald head.
Ok let me stop...lol the only thing I have to do with Deal or No Deal is playing the lottery ticket scratch off. In which I really dont win much, but Im hopeful that I will.*wink*

I never get tired of Deal or No Deal, except for maybe reruns. They are showing new episodes now, which means new and more interesting people on the show trying to win a lot of money. It is very entertaining and like how creative they are with the prizes and stuff they offer the contestants. People are still too greedy. :-)

I got bored of it after a couple of weeks. I still watch it from time to time, but I agree that it seems like the same thing over and over again.

My husband likes Deal or No Deal, and I am getting tired of him turning to it, and wishing he were on it. And those models that carry the suitcases, well they look like broomsticks. I have no idea why anyone watches it when there are so many exciting crime dramas, and lawyer shows on TV.

I happen to enjoy DOND, including the suspense that so many people seem to hate. Patient people need entertainment, too!
The argument that it's "the same thing over and over" could apply to any game show, or most shows on TV for that matter. Wheel of Fortune is just people spinning a wheel and picking letters in a puzzle, and it's been on for 25 years!
One thing DOND contestants make the mistake of doing is telling the contestant coordinators, producers, etc. what they're afraid of. Then when they get on the show, they repeat their fears to Howie and, lo and behold, the banker has just the thing to scare them (i.e. bringing out a case with a snake in it for a contestant who's afraid of snakes.)
