I won't be much help because I KNOW I have a fallen bladder. That's one of the reasons I work from home. In a regular office stoppping to go potty every half an hour can cost you your job.

Wow! That would be great! As soon as I have insurance again, I'm going to have to check it out because right now it is REALLY interfering with my life.

I have had a few of those...and this time, the urge is about the same, but there's no pain/burning or feeling like I still have to go afterwards. But I'm still going at least once an hour! I'm drinking a lot, but only a little more than usual because I fear that I may be losing too much fluid by going so often. The only thing I can think of that could be "causing" this is a recent increase in my lithium levels. But it has never happened before under the same circumstances...then again, I'm finally realizing that things DO change when you get older. Maybe my reaction to the lithium is changing with age too.

I'm sure it is a serious question. I pee very seldon these days. Perhaps I don't drink enough water. Maybe you should check with your doctor. All I know is that drinking cranberry juice will prevent bladder infections. Also standing up while peeing will also help prevent bladder infections. The logic here is that, as a woman, when you urinate there is always a little urine left in your bladder because you are 'folded over' by sitting down. When you pee, say in the shower, all your tubes are straight and all the urine is expelled, leaving yor bladder completely empty. My doctor explained it to me this way; in English, not doctor language. After all who wants stagnating urine inside you! Causes problems! You'll fine that men get urinary infections far less than women. They stand for the most part. Good luck with that.

Really, if that's true, you should check with your doctor. Once about every 2 hours is normal unless one drinks LOTS. If you go that much, what are you drinking? Try just plain old water and see if it slows you down.

About 4 to 5 times a day.It all depends on the amount of water/liquids drunk during the day. I use the bathroom more frequently during the monsoon/winter and less during the summer.

If you had asked this question 5 months ago when I was pregnant I would havetold you that I practically lived in the bathroom weeing all day long. Now, thank goodness, its not too bad but I still go quite a lot coz I drink so much. I would say that on average I go about 10-12 times in 24 hours.

Not much, because my daughter always tried to follow me in. I'm probably going to do damage to my bladder. But probably, five times a day? Six?
