Hi gwendovere! When my husband and I got married, he said that I was like sleeping beauty..sleeping so beautifully and peacefully and he is always scared to make a noise because he snores. After so many years and i gained weight, I am no longer the sleeping beauty..he said that I am like a runaway train. haha..just joking. Yes, my husband and I do duets in snoring. haha..That is fun too! Take care and have a nice day.

My partner affirms that I really snore. Even my grand daughter is complaining already of the loud noise when I am snoring.
My doctor explains that the noisy sounds of snoring occur when there is an obstruction to the free flow of air through the passages at the back of the mouth and nose. This area is the collapsible part of the airway where the tongue and upper throat meet the soft palate and uvula. Snoring occurs when these structures strike each other and vibrate during breathing.
He further told me that medically snoring is very serious. Don't take it as a fun, he said. It disturbs sleeping patterns and deprives the snorer of appropriate rest. When snoring is severe, it can cause serious, long-term health problems, including obstructive sleep apnea.

fortunately for me i dont snore and neither do any of my family member. I wont be able to sleep easily if someone around would be snoring as the sound is too disturbing for me.

I have been known to snore but only when I am nocked out cold and really really tired. Just the other day my Beloved said I was cradled in his arms fast asleep and I was snoring very mildly and he said to me that he found it quite cute and amusing because I don't ususally snore lol. So I took that as a compliment hehe.

I snore like anything sometimes. But I don't whistle haha. Once I was in a monastery where I was put in a dorm, and there was this big fat gentleman on the bed next to me. And my God, he was snoring all night and it was not a gentle one, it was demonic. I couldn't sleep all night. :)

Gwendovere, I still don't know. My wife for thirteen years says nothing about my snoring. I'll ask her again!

My husband and bestfriend told me I snore also especially during those days i am so tired or experiencing cold and flu. I know, when someone snores, it is because he or she found it hard to breath. That there is something wrong in her or his airways. But when i am relax and in god health, I am not snoring at all. I sleep quietly.
