How will you rate a person?

We know so many people in our lives, how will you rate each of them. Or how will you rate someone unknown to you? by his profession, or behaviour, or character, or is there any other criteria you look for?

First of all I do not rate people who come into my life. That would be hard to do. Maybe I look at the behavior or character of the person but it is never really for the purpose of rating.
