I believe most of your guys have TV set in your family since it plays an important role in our daily life.Recently I visited one of my friend's newly-decorated home and I found there are three TV sets in his home, one in his bedroom,on in his parents bedroom and another in the restroom.Personally,I thought its kind of waste of money. What do you think? How many TV sets are there in your family? Thanks for your response.

We have 6 televisions in our house, which include one in the living room, den, kitchen, and one in each of the 3 bedrooms, we had one in our barn and moved it into one of the bedrooms earlier this year. I would love another one in the bathroom, I think it is so cool to watch the morning news while you are getting ready for work.

Well, we have only one big TV set in our living-room for everyone to watch. This new one takes the place of the old one, which is still lying in our baseroom, waiting for some new sales promotion activities for renewing a new TV set by being given some discount. I think that we will have another one in our bedroom in the near future. I think that they are living a quality and luxury life with a TV set in the restroom, which is enjoyable though. hehe.

For years & years I only had 1 tv and that worked great for me. Then I inherited 2 more. Then the roomie moved in & brought hers Now we have 1 big one in the media room, 1 in my workspace, 1 in both the roomie's & the "new" roomie's bedrooms & one sitting on the floor in the media room. I have to say, if I NEVER have a TV in my bedroom it'll be too soon - well, maybe if I become bedridden.

Well, the roomie has to sit right in front of one because of her vision problem. The other roomie is one of those that needs one to sleep. In fact, the one in the media room is hardly ever turned on! I watch the one in my craft room and have rather gotten out of the habit since it was broken for months & had to be replaced.

There is one set at my home. We use it to watch just movies via dvd player. No tv channels for some 5 years now! Life's so peaceful without tv! I got to realise more time for other activities.

hi monicazhang! We have only one television set and it is because my husband and I are the only one living in our house. I don't think getting another one is practical because that will just be a waste because most of the time, my husband and I love watching together. Take care and have a nice day.

I have no television sets. In all rooms. I watch TV in public places like restaurants and bars, and there is nothing on that I can see that is worth buying one, and even less buying some $50 per month cable service to bring me even more worthless garbage into my home. Maybe if I can find a discounted rate for just the more worthy channels, like Discovery and History Channels - let's add Comedy Central and late night Cartoon Channel on a temporary basis to see what they are like all day - I might spend money on that. But I refuse to pay for the extra 95% fecal material everything else comes with. To me it is not worth it. I'll get my information and entertainment from the internet, thank you,

Now,there is just one TV set in my family.Because now in my life, the most important item is computer and I spend much time on my notebook so for me,I'm not interested in the programms on TV set. Just my parents enjoy TV programms.Only one TV set is enough.

Hello monicazhang. Before I got married, I lived with my parents, and there we have like 5 TV sets. One in my parents' bedroom. One in each rooms of us three siblings. One is in the kitchen. That was so to avoid arguments on who's supposed to hold the remote control because each has his own favorite show to watch. There is also one in the dining room because many shows that we like to watch are shown during meal times. I didnt like that kind of setup because it doesn't encourage family bonding, and of course its a waste or resources. Now that I am married and have 3 kids, I would only want to have one TV set, in the family room. This is to encourage togetherness. This also allows to practice patience as one has to give-and-take. There are times that we can watch our favorite show and bore others to tears. And there are times that we just almost sleep while others are enjoying the show. This is what I encourage because family bonding is most important for me. When the kids grow up, it is not the show that they will remember but the moments of being together in that one TV set. :)

Currently there is one tv in my apartment, and it probably only gets turned on once a week, if it gets turned on at all. Back home in Australia, I had two tv's, but again, they were rarely ever on. The only time I normally turn it on is if I can't sleep, and I don't feel like reading, have had enough of studying or don't want to play around on the internet.

A tv in the restroom, thats interesting. I have 5 tv's but only three are used two of the 5 are mine the others belong to my mom who lives with me. I don't want to get rid of mine cause I would need them if I moved and mom would need hers if she were to move. I have one in my bedroom mom has one in her bedroom and there is one in the livingroom. Those are the three that are being used the other two, one is in the kids' room and the other is in the dining room both aren't hooked up to cable so they aren't being used. -Amber
