We only eat soups in the winter here. It's too hot to want hot food, especially something like soup in 90 to 110 degree weather. However, soup season is coming up and I'm looking forward to it!

I'm not very fond of soup, but my husband has it at lunch becomes it's a nice warm dish. He usually has a sandwich too, and that will fill him up.

We are having soup dinner tonight. I made a turkey over the weekend, and I made soup from the carcass today. It really smells great. I sometimes have a can of soup for lunch. It is cheap and easy. We dont usually have soup with dinner unless the soup is our main course.

When we have soup in my house it is the meal. I make pretty hearty soups and serve them with bread and that is all we have for dinner. I am going to make French Onion soup tonight and serve it with a crusty French bread.

With my husband trying to lose weight, we have started having a cup of broth or salad as a pre-filler to help us from over-eating. With the temperatures dropping the broth does warm our tummys and makes us feel good.

No I usually don't and until recently I didn't even like soup that much! I'm starting to like it more and more now. But to me soup is almost like a real meal in itself so soup as a course before a meal is only a special occasion thing to me :)

I am more likely to make soup in the afternoons when the weather is cooler outside. I did make a pot of chili for dinner last night, but it was for the meal, not with a meal. In genenal, if I make soup, it is the meal~ maybe I will serve it with a sandwich.

i would love to have soup in every meal i take --it be breakfast, lunch or dinner :) i just love sipping hot soup while at my meals. without the soup, perhaps pickles would be fine too. add the cups of green tea on the side and i am good to go :)
