I have done that before but not every time I walk by one. I don't really believe they bring good luck though.

I think its just the thought of doing it when we pass by one,we know it does not work, but why not try, hehe:)

I have always believed in an element of luck, and once in a while have dropped a penny into a wishing well. I have many wishes but very few will ever come true though.

Yes, sometimes I do that. I toss a penny in a fountain after making a wish. I know it sound childish... but who can say if my wish would come true, right? Some say that it is good luck and I wont say that it is true. Maybe yes... I believe if your heart really desires it then there would be a possibility that it would come true.

Hi peanutjar! When I was a kid I would throw change into a fountain all the time and wish for something. They never came true from what I can remember, and I eventually outgrew it I guess. Love & Hugzz, Your Friend, PurpleTeddyBear!

Not pennies? Noooooo! I save pennies actually. But I do toss other coins and make wishes. None ever come true. What a waste of money. Grrr!! I cash the pennies to go to the casino every other month or so. Usually about $50. My wife is a waitress so we get a lot of change in the household. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Hello!Your back!hehe.Thats one good way instead of throwing them, you can try and win actaully something with them.I was once a waitress before my daughter was born,i couldnt wait to cash the change for some bills, hehehe. Now we have a jar, actually a "peanutjar"hint, hint, that we keep our pennies in for our daughter, when she wants something its her to take.:)

Sometimes but not always. If I run across a fountain which keeps a lot of coins in it, I will toss some coins too. But I will not do the same to any fountain without a coin. I believe eventhough it will not function immediately, it do work one day in my life. :D
