what are your earliest memories? I have three which become intertwined: I fall of a little rocking horse on the back porch, I get in trouble for pulling my sister's hair, and I remember my grandfather mourning the death of my grandmother...sitting in the backseat of their car. All of this would be when I was around three, maybe close to four. how about you?

I don't think that I could remember that far back. The earliest that I could remember would probably be around 6 years old when I started my kindergarten. I could still remember the first snack, the alphabet biscuits, that I got to have with some home mad orange drink. Then I remembered getting on the big swing for the first time where I got really scared and a few others.

Hmm...that's a really interesting subject..I don't know really. Can't say for sure but the earliest memory I can recall right now with concrete details would be trying to fit plastic keys in the form of basic shapes to open doors with that corresponding shape in this small red and yellow plastic house. If I remember correctly, I think there were stickers of animals above each door as well..Ah good times!~

I have so few memories of my childhood but think one of my fondest memories was to spend the night with my grandparents and watch my grandfather shave. He used a razor blade and brush that was dipped into a mug with shaving cream. He had something in the bathroom cabinet that he would take a sip of now and then while shaving. I know this many years later it was a flask of whiskey. Maybe that's why he lived so long!

I was around three, and we were still in England, and it was dark, and there was this snowman standing in the yard, and I was really scared. The next memory was when we were on the ship coming over (I was still three then) and I was on the top bunk looking at comic books under the covers, and my brother was in the bunk below whining, and possibly sick and mother was comforting him. I remember telling mother I want to get on the top bunk.
I then remembered being on the train and having the covers over me because I got sick. (Guess from who? My baby brother, of course.)

I can rememeber as far back as 3 when I had eye surgery in New York City. I guess I remember it so much because it was so traumatic for me. I remember them taking off the bandages. I remember crying because at that time parents were not allowed to stay the night with children. That is I think my earliest memory.

I remember looking down out a window at my mother & my brother building me a snowman.
Since this could've ONLY been in NJ, and I was born in November and we moved to Texas before I was 2, I had to have been between 13-15 months old.
I also remember being really angry - and my mom finally remembered that I had been sick once & wasn't allowed out to play with them in the snow.
Ya know, when my sister was about 10 years old, one of our few snowstorms in Texas happened & my brother, the nieghborhood kids & I made her a snow man. We got it 3 feet high! took almost all the snow in the neighborhood!!!!

I have two memories from infancy that are weird. The first one was a scorpion on the wall next to my crib. I remember my mother screaming for someone to kill it and my cousin running in the room.

Hi bgerig! My earliest memory was when I was two years and seven months when my mother was giving birth to my younger brother. I remember it well because I think I got scared when I saw my mother crying in pain at our home and I have to call my grandmother who lives next door. I remember an ambulance came but she gave birth right in our home. Take care and have a nice day.

I very vaguely remember being two years old and everyone asking me whether I wanted a baby brother or sister. I ended up with a sister. I remember the exact day when I was four that my mom went into labor with my brother. We went to the mall that day. I remember visiting her in the hospital. I remember the night she came home with my new brother. My sister was 2. My dad had to work, my sister was relentless. She wanted them to take the baby back. My mom was in tears and I felt really bad, even at 4 years old. I wanted to comfort my mom. We are 25, 27 and 29 years old now.

My memories probably are from around that same time period. I remember being told not to climb up on top of the car, but doing it anyway, and forgetting how to climb down, the mailman rescued me. I remember going into my parents half bath, stoppering the sink, turning on the water, and forgetting how to turn it back off. In that same time frame, I was in a car while it "warmed up" and the old car heaters had wires that glowed with current, I saw it and thought the car was on fire. I dreamed that the car drove itself 3 hours to my grandparents' hometown, with me petrified in the back seat. I also remember that my mom always talked about how bad the gasoline smelled, so I put violas (a flower) in the gas tank of the Studebaker. That Studebaker featured in the previously mentioned memories. All of them have to come from when I was an early three years old.

My earliest memories are on my 3rd birthday. We just arrived to my aunts house when my mom went into labor with my baby sister. My dad basically handed me over to my grandmother and they left to go to the hospital. I didn't like the fact that my parents left me on my birthday. Luckily she wasn't born on my birthday, she missed it by 1 hour, lol. When I was around 4, I remember getting upset over the fact that my cat killed a baby bird, and my mom had to explain to me that things happen.

Mine are from right around 3 years old too. I remember my grandmother in the kitchen fixing oatmeal for me and asking "who's knocking on my door?" as I'm teasing her knocking on the cupboard. I also remember this silly mechanical penguin that I played with at Christmas time. I also remember running in terror to the receptionist while my mom was in getting teeth pulled, because this elderly gentleman kept trying to sit next to me in the office. Every time I would move over a chair, he would too. He was completely harmless, but to my 3 year old mind, he was an absolute OGRE! LOL

I have very early memories and talking to other people that have infant memories, I know it is possible. My cousin also has an infant memory.
My first one is my first halloween when I was 3 months old. I remember lying on my changing table looking up at my mother and she was halfway dressed as a witch. She said "we're gonna make you so pretty!" Let me clarify: I did not know what a changing table was, what a witch was, or what her words meant so much. but I knew she was my mom and I can remember what she said. Looking back on the fact I can say well yes what she was dressed as was a witch, what i was lying on was a changing table, etc. This is not a vivid memory by any means but it is real. My mom has a picture taken of me on teh changing table from that halloween looking DOWN at me and i was already dressed. My memory is of being not dressed yet and of looking UP at my mom's face, out of my eyes. And i've had this memory for as long as I can remember, years before I ever saw that picture!
My next one I was under 2 years old... my mom was in this local women's group and they had babysitting there. Well there were 2 rooms...the "older kids" and the nursery which was under 2 years old. I remember lying in one of their cribs for naptime, and thinking I was happy because I had my blankie, my cousin was in the next crib over and my mommy was going to pick me up soon. Then I must of fallen asleep.
Next memory after that is the Christmas I was 2. I remember going into the kitchen and my parents were distracting me because our dog had had a seizure that night (he was put to sleep the next day). And my mom was pregnant, I remember her belly. She asked me what I wanted for breakfast and i said "tuna fish!"I could go on... i have LOTS of early childhood memories. Strangely though, i can hardly remember any memories from my middle school years. It was a really bad time for me, i was awkward and shy and I think I must of blocked it out or somethiing!

My first memories aren't very pleasant so I won't go into detail there. I do remember Christmas Eve at my Grandmother's house. My brother and I got to decorate gingerbread men, we would play Christmas games, leave a letter for Santa, leave cookies for Santa, and carrots for the reindeer too! My brother and I felt like the luckiest kids in the world that Santa came to 2 houses just for us!

My earliest memory is from when I was less than one year old. My mother put a poster on the wall near my crib that showed farm animals. To this day I remember that poster. I didn't know where I remembered it from until recently when I asked my mom about it and she was amazed since it was so long ago.
