Do you still support George W. Bush?

Seriously I want to know if there's any supporters left. And why do you support him? Can anyone give me three legitimate reasons why you support his beliefs and policies? And no, saying "I'm pro-life too" does not count. Currently Bush is giving a press conference on TV and it's annoying me greatly how he is essentially chastising Congress for not getting bills passed. How is that possible when he keeps vetoing them? Argh. One year and some odd days left. Thank God.

NO I don't support him. I think he should have been impeached as soon as his did his wire tapping.. and passed that Patriot Act trash. I could never support tyranny. Which is all he has ever done in office.

Neo, I agree with you about the tyranny. I don't see how he can keep getting his way and Congress can't step in... I thought we had checks and balances.

Bush isn't getting his way. Congress is stonewalling him, but similarly, Bush is standing up for what he believes in by vetoing Congress' stupid bills. The checks and balances system is what's keeping anything extrememly stupid from happening. In fact, the current government is probably the best example of checks and balances in the history of the United States.

How is vetoing 2 bills "continuing to veto them"? I don't support him when it comes to illegal immigration, NCLB or Ethonol. As far as my support for Prs. Bush, it depends on the issue. Yes, I support him with the war against Islamist Extremist Terrorism, His economic policies, and Embronic Stem Cell research. I Definitely support him chastising this Total Waste of a Congress. Three legitimate reasons: We have tried the "lay back and take it" approach to Islamist terrorism for decades now... it didn't work. The tax cuts have brought more revenue to Congress than there has ever been. We have been through a lot of natural and manmade disasters through his administration, and our economy has been able to absorb it all. Even the most optimistic researchers say we are still a decade away from the day that Embryonic Stem Cell research will produce any treatments. On the other hand, Adult Stem Cell research has already produced dozens of treatments. That being true, there is no longer any scientific purpose for embryonic stem cell research... although there is plenty of political purpose. PS: I responded to your post without any "because I'm pro-life" type answers. If you choose to reply, please show me the same respect.

I guess the Iranian Hostage Crisis, Marine Barracks in Beirut, US Embassies in Kuwait and Beirut, Hijacking of the Achille Lauro Cruise Ship, Bombing of the Labelle Disco, Pan Am bombing over Lockerbie, Scotland, never happened at all, right?

No, I never really did like him but I know it's not all his fault the things that occurred. I do not like him attitude with dealing with the war, I do not feel that he cares about the troops. I was for the war in the beginning but now I believe it's gone too far and too long. Mostly I don't like when he takes like everything is everyone elses fault, mostly all against Democrates. I'm a Republican too, and I don't blame the Democrates for everything going wrong. He doesn't do well with explaining himself, half the time I don't know what the heck he's talking about. But seriously it doesn't matter who is president, they all do something we don't like.

Lil Wonder said it all. Each side is guilty of doing nothing, it's just the Democrats have better press coverage. When Bush beat Gore for his first term, I was heartbroken. I voted for Kerry (being too young to vote against Bush the first time) on the second go-round. If the law allowed it, I'd vote for a third term for W. He's got the balls to do what he believes is right, without playing party lines as much as Congress. If Eisenhower or FDR had been as cowardly and gutless as the current Congress wants America to be, we'd be speaking German or Japanese right now. It seems that no one wants the war to continue because "people are dying" and "war is always bad" and "no good ever came out of war." Tell it to the Jews liberated from the concentration camps. Tell it to Kurds who were spared Hussein's genocide, thanks to the United States. War is the only way to communicate with these terrorists. And it's the only way I feel safe. I can't trust my life to a Liberal president.

PPL need to know one thing. The global warming affects ALL ECONOMY, SOCIETY AND POLITICS IN EVERY PLACE. You ALL NEED TO WATCH THE MOVIE UNFORGIVEBLE TRUTH FROM ALL GORE, who still support George W. Bush is just limitating yourselvs to the all criticated american way of think and this mess anyone. See that movie and answer this question. Sometimes one person can be very acceptable in some question but there are facts that anyone can scape from. The future ever finish for the come, and so on all need to accept the consequences.
