Do you often wonder what people are thinking?

Sometimes I wonder how someone could think they looked good to walk out of the house looking the way they do.
Sometimes I wonder what in the world possessed someone to write that absolutely ridiculous question on mylot.
Sometimes I just wonder what the heck it is that people were thinking when they do certain things that they do.
Do you often find yourself wondering... "what in the world were you thinking"?
Do you ever wonder what the answer to that would be if they could actually answer it?

LMAO! I am SO experiencing a bit of that NOW! In a friend of mines discussion...more ignorance and close mindedness we were talking about a few days ago LOL.
Yes I do often wonder that about peoples clothes. Esp celebrities. Because most of them have stylists. And I'm like WTF!?! You REALLY think that looks good?? You need a new stylist!
Not to mention people in stores...shew...

Ha ha. What I wonder about Celebrities is when they're dressed just to go out to the gym or whatever and dress all crappy..it's like, you know there are gonna be cameras. don't you want to look a little nice?
I really wish I knew what mylotters were thinking.
wait...
maybe not!

Ah that doesn't bother me (when they go to the gym and what not). If they're going out to eat or something like that then yeah - they need to look nice. But I know if I was going to the gym I wouldn't want to spend all that time getting perfect to just get sweaty, you know?
LOL - I know what you mean about the mylotters...it's a NOT for sure :)

I now wonder that daily at work. You should see how some of those girls dress, and it's a daycare! The director wanted us to look professional, but I assure you that a few of them look far from professional. I told you how they talk to those kids. That really makes me wonder. I also ponder that question while at Wal-Mart. I don't doll myself up to go to Wal-Mart, but I do have a bit of self-respect not to be looking all haggard and creepy. I'm not out to impress anyone, but I do take a certain amount of pride in trying to look decent, you know? Not in a vain way, but like, not as in white trash.
I wonder frequently about MyLot questions, or even responses in general. Ha ha. I find myself wondering how much time some people have on their hands.
I wonder what people on reality shows are really thinking after they sign up for the show and are crying to go home three episodes later. It's like, you know what you're getting into, so why the drama and the tears?

I think the director and management like to play favorites a bit. I got this whole big spill when I started about dressing professional and how they expect you to act in front of the kids, but it doesn't happen. I do my job for state regulations and for the kids, but it's social time for a couple of the girls. I can't stand them! Grrrrr. The place has a lot of potential, but they really need to weed out several of the teachers. We were told to wear scrubs, but a few think they can get by with looking like trash. Ha ha! You never know what will happen if a dude 'cams' around you!:P

Aw man that's crazy. Do the directors never say anything to those girls? I mean are they around when you're working. I thought you had to wear scrubs anyway?
you scrub :p
Oh yeah Wal-mart...or even worse, K-Mart! I definitely don't understand why people do either extreme to go out to walmart or the grocery store or something like that. I think it's crazy. It's like... just make yourself look decent!
..."do you think it would happen if he cam"? :p
you better understand that!
Oh man. I think reality shows push those buttons on purpose.
I'd be a horrible reality show contestant cause I'd refuse to get down like that.

Occasionally I feel pretty sure I know what someone is thinking. Other times, I can come up with a range of possible motives, and I might be curious which one applied. Or I might not care, one way or another. But, yes, there are times when I can't imagine what a person was thinking. They're like some alien being whose behavior seems random and based on no logic that I can understand. I expect the answer to the question "what were you thinking" would be just as unintelligle.

Yes, maybe reverse psychology is the explanation for some otherwise inexplicable behavior. Or maybe some people just like the idea of being an enigma.. But as they say, 'there's no accounting for taste'.

I like to make up my own reasons people do stuff too!
It's more fun that way. That the 65 year old woman wearing something you shouldn't wear unless you're below 16... is wearing it because she's trying to show her 18 year old granddaughter how she's gonna look if she doesn't stop wearing those clothes!

I find myself alot thinking what it was like back way when the settlers where settling the plains, if they thought about the future and what impact that they put into it. I often also find myself wondering what future worlds/planets/lifes will think of us and maybe would wonder if we saw the world the way we do now or if they even think that we existed.

Most of the time I do not find my self asking what or why this person have done this or that.
What I often ask my self is how would I be feeling if the things others experience happens to me. I often wonder how would I deal with each situation. I often wonder how great God is to allow someone and not me.
When adversity happens to someone I know, I also thank God for blessing me to be away from those difficult situations. Although I am also into some difficulties in life, I still appreciate my experience and faith when I know that others are suffering more than me.
I also believe that other people's lives are meant to be shared to someone for us to appreciate life more.

I was just thinking the SAME thing. HAHAHA Just Kidding!
I think some of us have Homer Glasses on. If you ever saw the way he looked at himself in the mirror on how he thought himself all buff instead of puff. Sometimes we think things look better on us then we do. Or we sound smarter than we are cause we have those homer glasses on.
Now take them OFF!

Weird as it might sound, no. I don't wonder about why people are thinking about when they post questions in MyLot. Maybe they think the questions would attract many comments. Maybe they REALLY think they are good discussion topics. Or maybe they just try to post as many topics as possible to get more money he he he he...Because from my own experience, sometimes I post something that I thought could generate many comments, but it didn't...and something I posted that I thought wouldn't be interesting enough proved to attract many comments.
Weird...

Hi, raychill,
Now you really make me wonder about myself hi hi hi hi hi...I guess I started to wonder when you posted the question, thus I started finding answers about them hi hi hi...
Yeah, you're right, though, about that you can't get the real story from a post when it comes to a personal relationship.

I was raised that no question is a stupid one, however I often think to myself "gee, why did I ask such a stupid question" and do wonder sometimes why people say certain things!

thinking is the only thing we know that we have.. but it could be wrong..
Thinking is the state of mind when thousand and hundred thousand different operations interact with each other..a lot of memories from neocortex is called out and in.. according to the external stimulus..when you see something it makes you remember about something.. when you read something it makes you remember about something..
when you see something bad it makes you feel sorry or be afraid..
thinking is the leading machine of our actions..it reflects itself the thing called language that we can actually exchange these abstract stuff. but nobody knows how this stuff called mind expresses things and gives them names and thru which explains and tells other minds about what it thinks about and 'understands' other minds the same way and gets the necessary information out from those minds and stores it inside and takes it out when external stimuli makes it remember..
Actually you are wondering about that 'mind', 'consciousness' stuff that is at the moment stays 'unsolved','unknown' for now .. but I think we are so close to discover this thing out.
what if there would be chip implanted in your brain that would be monitoring your thoughts ? :-)
