Do you have an unspoken bond with your mate/lover?

My husband and I have a neat relationship. We seem to almost always know what the other person is thinking. The other night, my husband injured his bottom front teeth. He was eating some riblets, and one of the bones slipped between his teeth and drove them apart (ouch!). He showed it to me, and I thought that it looked like an upside down David Letterman. About two minutes later, he said the exact same thing I was thinking. In another instance, my husband was looking up something about the Wizard of Oz on the computer. I was in the kitchen doing dishes, and started whistling "we're off to see the wizard". I had no idea that he was looking at that on the computer, but the song just came into my head. There are dozens of other examples where we're thinking the same thing, or one of us will vocalize what the other person is thinking, verbatim. We know each other so well, it's scary. My husband also has a habit of not finishing his sentences. His brain goes so fast that he'll start a sentence and will trail off because his brain is already on to the next subject before his mouth finishes what he was saying. But I always know what he's talking about. Sure, there are times where we're completely off-base, and he'll think that I'm thinking or feeling a certain way about something and he'll find out that he's completely wrong and we'll argue, or vice versa, but most of the time we're completely on the same page about just about everything. Do you have a relationship like this? Can you finish each other's sentences? Do you often think the same thing at the same time? I don't necessarily believe in psychic phenomena but we seem to have this link that I can't explain, and that I don't share with anybody else.

My husband tends to buy things that I have been thinking about but haven't mentioned yet. Or, he will bring home take out and it will be what I was thinking about at work. He says I'm "sending" him the suggestions. LOL Some days it is really uncanny.

I think you and your husbands relationship is amazing and very special! My husband and I often think the opposite!! However, we have a great relationship but I don't think I could handle someone who thought exactly like me! In our case opposites attract!! We seem to balance one another!

You are a very lucky lady. I've only had one relationship like that in my life, and after ten years, sadly, it ended due to his problems with mental illness. It's not that uncommon though, I've been told.

I dont have that sort of connection wtih my husband but I do with my other man which is really interesting actually...He and I have been VERY in tune with each other for some yrs now but whats interesting about it is the fact that he's never lived near me (at one point he was in the U.S and I was still in Canada) AND when it started he was still in prison so its not like we had physical contact and learned to "read" each others body movements etc ya know.....

Usually. They can pretty much tell when something is wrong and what type of mood I'm in. Sometimes, she finishes my sentences or does something or gets something for me that I was generally thinking about doing or getting myself. It's odd really. I can usually tell when she's in a bad mood or whenever something is wrong. Sometimes I say something right before she goes to say it herself. It's strange really.
