I have a ten months old boy who is healthly with no sign of medical abnormality behavior in my opinion or the pediatrician's opinion. He already has been given Hepatitis B vaccination and up for MMR(Measles, Mumps & Rebulla)given during 12 or 18 months. My concerns are trigered by medias and since then I, started reading and slmost in each articles theres a link between Autism and vaccination along toxins & viruses. As a parent, I am worried and contemplating the idea of putting this vaccination off until my son is 3 or 4 years old. I don't want to overload his immune system especially if it's not good. Yes, I have thought about school system and all other places that require immunization. WHAT are YOUR THOUGTHS ON THIS ISSUE

Read up on these vaccinations and the effects that could happen. Personally I would get some of the obvious vaccinations done, and then if there is pre-kindergarten I'd get the appropriate vaccinations. There could indeed be an overload of immune system especially if the vaccinations are done too close together. Its better to spread them out and allow the leukocytes the time to properly create the immunization. If the immune system is greatly taxed it'll take away from nourishment that the rest of the body depends on especially vitamins C and E along with potassium.

The best advice I can give you is to request the package inserts direct from the manufacturer and read the ingredient list. Educate yourself as to what is in these vaccines and ask yourself if all those preservatives, hormones, etc will do your child good. Educate yourself about the number of adverse reactions/deaths reported with each vaccine. Educate yourself about recent vaccine headline news such as: for the first time in history, JAMA (the medical journal) has reported that this vaccine is not fully safe. JAMA says that the new HPV vaccine needs more research (as they cannot verify how long the vaccine will last, if it will actually protect the person, and it may cause rare bad effect on your health) before it because state mandated. Find out who exactly is profiting from all these mandatory vaccines. Read books such as: "Evidence of Harm."
I have not vaccinated my children because they were extremely sensitive to preservatives, chemicals, meat, etc. I could not imagine what a vaccine could have done to their system had I allowed them to be vaccinated. I used to think that maybe vaccines were ok for the large majority of the population. But now that the # of required vaccines are growing, maybe not. Whether you decide to vaccinate or not, I highly recommend HOMEOPATHY for dealing with the illneses themselves (see a professonal classically trained homeopath) and look up the remedy IGNATION for dealing with adverse reactions to vaccines.

You are right to be concerned. You should consult several doctors if necessary to get their opinion, although most might tell you it's harmless blah blah blah...
I think a vaccine might have done me irreversible harm as a child, but my mother never realised it. It happened to both me and my sister, but it was worse for me. I think in those days, no one ever considered that a vaccine might be harmful...so our unexplained illness was never solved...but I always believe it was due to a vaccine though I have never tried to prove it.
So...I guess I am biassed to say you should be cautious, but I think the research has proven that my bias is based on something concrete, and that parents should always be careful. All children should be in the best health when vaccinated and parents should monitor them closely following the vaccination to make sure there are no adverse effects. These are some rules that were never stressed before. And in your case, you can think about postponing it as long as there is no immediate threat to your son's health. But definitely try to get a medical opinion...but don't let them browbeat you into vaccinating your son if you have concerns that have not been sufficiently allayed. I know it's just a tv series, but "Strong Medicine" has tackled issues like that....and helped me to see that really, it is up to the parent to decide what is best for their child...and no one should be forced to vaccinate their child when there are real health issues to consider. All the best to you!
