With the development of the communication technology, it seems that people more rely on the modern communicating tools than before. Take cellphone for instance, nowadays it's very common to have a cellphone. People make calls, sent messages, buy things and even surf in the Internet by cellphone. And its functions are advancing.
I always can see people surrounding me using cellphone, which becomes their notebook, watch, secretary. I wanna know how important it is to them, to their daily life.
By the way, I also have one, but I just use it sometimes. I can do without it. How about you?

Cellphone is already important in our daily life. Actually, this gadget is already part of our major necessities if we are going to talk about its relevance in today’s generation.
This really helps a lot in our daily needs. We used this for calling long distances and for sending messages without the use of computers or mail services.
It consumes less time and effort, thus, making our work faster without hassle.
Day by day, it became more convenient to business, transactions, work, schools, conference, hospitals, etc.
Have a nice day and God speed!

Hello braveheart07! Thank you for your positive participating!
I absolutely agree with you. An increasing number of people are using cellphones and they are growing more and more rely on cellphone. It's no doubt that this outcome of modern technology helps us a lot and save many troubles.
But excessively depending on it can cause adverse impact on our life. And continuous long time using of cellphone may do harm to our body according to related studies.
Hope every one who is using or are going to use cellphone put it to good use and don't let it control your daily life.
Best regards!

Hi Meilina.
To me, cellphone doesn't play any role in my life as it is my life. Haha.
However, if people ask me do I use it very often? My answer is no. I don't really text a lot or call a lot but I need it by my side. It's just a sense of security. In case others have anything urgent they can reach me immediately. Well, in fact, maybe I don't really pick up my house phone will be another reason for me to keep my cellphone by my side 24 hours.

Hi,shadowing.Thank you for your positive participating!
I see your point but feel not so good as you describe your cellphone as "a sense of security". I understand how you feel when not having your cellphone along.
You might be anxious and afraid of missing phone calls, particularly those urgent and important ones, right? However, the cellphone is not your only way/tool to be contacted by others.
Sometimes turn off your cellphone and lay back can be an enjoyment.Just relax and enjoy this moment of your life!

Hi. Haha. Yea, it's good to turn off phone sometimes. However, to be frank, I never let my phone turned off before. I have my phone on 24 hours. Haha. I don't know why but I must make it like this ;p

Apart from daily communication activities i use my cell as a watch alarm clock and keep track of all my important activities which i have to perform with reminders set. I have a complete list of all birthdays of my close relatives and friends whom i would like to wish. I also acts as a calculator when needed and converter too.

Hi, limcyjain! Thank you for your positive responding!
Having a cellphone truely saves many troubles and efforts, for example remembering all birthdays of family members and close friends as you've talked above. It's realy a convenient way to remember important dates and appointments, especially for the forgetful people. But what if you lost your cellphone? :P
Hope not!
Best regards!

My cell phone is only for emergencies and calling cabs since I don't drive. I sometimes send a text message to one of my kids if they don't answer their phone. It doesn't even have a camera..lol....

cellphone and email is my main source of communication with my friends and family members. i use it also as a calendar to keep track of what i do. though now i have been relying on my computer more when it comes to that. but i guess my main point is that my cell phone is the most if not the most important thing that i need at my side at all and any time.

hello heilian!
well, nowadays we almost can't go without a cellphone, although i use my cellphone not often but i can't go without it in my daily life,i can't estimate what time there is a call to me,so for me cellphone isn't the most important but it can't hardly go without it in my daily life.

At this point, no, i couldn't do without mine...it is the only way i have to absolutely know that my husband can get a hold of me. He is serving overseas and he calls at weird times and if i'm not home it could be days before i talk to him again...so i just keep a cell phone and he calls that so that no matter where i am i can talk to him.
