My Family Survived...Thank God My Friends and Family are Safe

We had a rough couple of days in Michigan, but my family came through it ok. I don't know how if you heard about the severe weather we had on Thursday, but there were tornadoes and severe thunderstorms and golf ball size hail and whatnot. Anyway, my daughter got the golf ball size hail, a tornado touched down about a mile from where my sister, my brother and my niece live and where my son was working, we mostly got hail and high winds. A large tree fell on the power lines right by our house, cars overturned down the road from us, and a friend of my son's had houses on both sides of his completely wiped out. Luckily nobody was seriously hurt here, but at least two lives were lost a couple of counties away. Anyway, things are settled down here now. The winds are still a a little gusty at times, but nothing too serious. They are still cleaning things up in some places, but I am thankful that my family and friends are safe.
