Pen Drives now have been one of the most popular computer acessories. It is a good alternative of floopy disks.
I use a pendrive which is a tranced V3 series. It has a capacity of 2 GB.
What is your one? How much it's capacity? Have you found it very benificial to carry your important data?

Actually I am not familiar with Pen Drives though I am familiar with USB. But i haven't tried it myself. LOL! I just saw it on my husband's brother. I don't know how much is the capacity but I guess It was 1G. For me it's kinda beneficial since you can store your data and carry it wherever you wanna like.

I use to have one for school about 2 years ago when they were really expensive. Now you can get one that is 2gigs or more for the same price I paid for my 512MB one. I dont have one anymore, I gave it to my younger sister when she started college. They are really useful to have, and now they are really cheap.

I also use a pen drive, but I have a flash drive which is faster than pen drive.. I have a flash drive with 2 GB capacity from Buffalo, which is a major japanese brand.. Flash drives are almost 16% faster than pen drives, and that's why I decided to buy a flash drive instead of pen drive...

I don't use a pen drive, but I've a USB external/portable hard drive that I tuck my stuff into for safe keeping. It has 60 gigs of memory. The device fits in the palm of a hand and it prevents data loss if I have a computer crash. I use it for moving data around when I transfer between Windows and Linux operating systems on my computer as well.

For the traveler, a pen drive is an excellent idea, although I do not go traveling.

I have 2 thumbdrives; 1 is Toshiba 2GB and another one Kingston 1GB, which I got for free. I use it to keep my work files or movies/series that I get from friends. Comes in handy when I need to bring back home to/from work, or when I'm on a business trip or whenever i wanna transfer files to/from friends..
