I went to lay down and I heard something so I had my hubby turn on the light...I was hoping it was nothing..That nothing turned out to be a mouse and I started freaking out..
There was no way I was going to sleep now... Of course my hubby is laughing at me..he says, "what is he going to do to you?" I told him I didn't want him to jump in the bed...He laughed ever harder...
So here I am telling you about a teeny tiny mouse who doesn't even care that I exist..but is scaring me...LOL...
Why does something so little scare the crap out of me? Are you scared of mice? One time we had a bat flying around and I almost died of fright....I hid under my covers until my hubby caught it....

Haha that's too funny. At least it wasn't a burglar!! Although I am quite afraid of creepy crawlers myself. I wouldn't want any kind of creature in my house! Shoot, I get freaked out by ants!! I don't know what I'd do if there was a freakin mouse in my house!! I'd have to get a cat!!

LOL Years ago Hubby and I moved to a trailer by his mother and there was a mouse in it. Hubby said don't worry it's more afraid of you then you are of it...yeah, right then why don't I see mice turning into babbling idiots and standing on chairs at the site of a human? Anyways, the mouse literally ran down the hall at me and Hubby had to clunk it with his boot. Mouse went to mouse heaven and I was relieved not to have it running around.
!!HAPPY EASTER!!

A few years ago I was living alone with my dog and a horrible ghetto apartment. We were living in a horrible neighborhood in a severly run down building due to lack of money and prejudice against my dog that kept us from living somehwere nicer. One night a woke up to hear a scuffleing sound coming from one of my kitchen cupboards. I got up and went to look in the cupboard only to discover a huge rat, much like the one in the picture below, only not that well groomed, in my bogs bag of food. I slammed the door shut, ran and got a shovel, and opened the coor again, the rat ran right at me, I tried to hit it with the shovel but it got away and ran into the wall. I had to sleep with that shovel standing next to me bed with my hand on the handle for a week before the rat got caught in a trap.

I don't blame you one bit. One time I was staying at my sister's house to babysit her baby. I'd dozed off while rocking him to sleep. Sometime later I woke up to what at first felt like little fingers playing with my hair. I sat there with my eyes closed for a bit longer thinking it was cute. Then I opened my eyes and saw that my nephew was still fast asleep with both of his hands in his lap....It was a MOUSE in my hair! I jumped up and the mouse ran off but I didn't sleep the rest of the night or any night since then when I know a mouse is around.

I hope your hubby catches the mouse so you can sleep.
When we were kids, my brother had a pet mouse, before we knew it he had many, 22 to be exact. Well one day the mice got out of the tank they were in. All 22 of them. We were looking for them all day until we found every one of them. I remember one was in my brothers dresser drawer with his socks. I know it isn't the same, because they were so called pets, and they were small, but to me, I was still so scared.

I understand about the bat, ewww! Mice don't bother me because my nephew when he was a boy would raise both mice and rats. I don't like the wild ones, knowing they are dangerous and spread disease, but they don't freak me out.
What freaks me out are spiders and the thicker and bigger they are, the more freaked out I get. If my husband is not here, I would take a flyswatter and do a quick hit and run. (It can be funny to watch sometime..lol) Anyway, that way I know the spider will not get me, and I wait until my husband gets home to dispose of the body..*shivers*

I think its because they are so sneaky and get into
everything. then they whisk away and you cannot
catch them.I too am afraid of a little bitty mouse
and I know its ridiculous too.

My God.. you are a scaredy cat. I absolutely love bats (flying foxes) & mice..they are sooo...cute. I belong to a wildlife organisation known as WILDLIFE ARC where I care for flying foxes till they can be released back into the wild, unless you have hands on experience you just cant understand that they actually aren't scarey at all, they are very loving & affectionate little creatures. Mice too, they are so little & cute..I love them.

The mouse wouldn't scare me. I know it would run off somewhere and hide. What scares me is thinking about spiders crawling up on my bed. The other night, I must have had a dream or something to put the idea of a snake loose in the house and I almost couldn't go back to sleep thinking of it slithering around and not knowing where it might be or whether or not it could be poisonous. It was incredible! I just rolled my eyes at myself and had to really talk to myself telling myself how ignorant that was so I could go back to sleep.

Yuck, I hate mice and cockroaches - they freak me out. I would be screaming my head off and running into the other room until he gets rid of it. Aargh I just got shivers up my spine from reading this LOL!

You know, we used to have pet mice, many years ago, when my kids were little. We were given, 2 mice, that were both supposed to be boys. lol Well, unless 2 boys can produce babies, one of them was a girl. lol Anyway, pretty soon, they were multiplying left and right. They were getting loose, and it was awful. There are probably still all colors of mice wreking havoc in that neighborhood, to this day. That was 20 years ago. lol Anyway, getting to the answer to your question. Yes, I am afraid of stray mice, and I scream and jump, when I see them. lol

Hi Feona, hey, at least you have a great sense of humor. lol lol. I'm afraid of mice and not only that I think it's !!(lol) Shortly after my daughter was married her husband and our two sons were chasing a mouse out of her kitchen. She was in the bedroom, standing on the bed, (probably shaking ..lol) got her foot twisted up in the blankets, fell off the bed and sprained her ankle. Needless to say the 'guys'in the kitchen could do nothing to help her until they had their laughter under control. lol..lol
