Hey my friends, I was thinking about what I am going to do for the holidays (Christmas and New Year), I would love to go and visit my family, but it is so expensive, and I can not afford it for now, so I am looking for some advice about where to go in United States, or close to Florida, and not too expensive... I am a student so I have a limited Budget...
Thanks for your advice!!

Well if the money is too tight then you should just stay where you are. Your family should be able to understand of maybe they could help you out.

Well, the thing is I have somemoney to do something, but it is not enough to go and visit my family, I am in US, and my family is in Chile, just for the tickets to go there on Holidays I will need more then 1200 dollars... and I will have to travel at least a day and a half to get there, and a day and a half to coma back... so if I get the money it is too much to be there less then a week and comeback... that is why I am thining to travel arounf here...

Oh wow. Okay So you should definetely stay here and go somewhere. That sounds aside from expensive exhausting. You if you can't be with your family might as well go somewhere with your friends.

Hi terrych.I was in Florida for month and know a little bit of there.I don't know if it is great plce where to spend a Christmas, but I visited St.Augastine and I love it there. It is the oldest city in the USA and there is a very nice beach, city and small shops. Also on the other site there is a huge outlet shopping mall.Hey where are you in Florida? I am not sure yet, but maybe I would be there for Christmas too and maybe we can spend one day together shopping or just get some coffee and chat little bit.

Hi terrych,
If you can't go home for Christmas then I would suggest being with friends. Friends are usually the next best thing. I usually spend Christmas with my best friend and her family as my family lives far away!

I bet she feels a bit sad that her daughter can't make it home for Christmas! I really hope that you can maybe find a fair thats decent enough that you and your family can split the cost maybe? Either way I hope you have a great holiday and surround yourself with love somehow!
Luv & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

I agree with you my dear, friends are the closest family I have now... I am planing to go and visit some friends... but I am not sure which friends yet... also I am checking on internet the tickets to chile, because I talk with my mom and she sounds sad when I told her that more likely I will not go there on Christmas...

If only stateside had a full hi-speed rail transit system especially to compete with the demeaning and price-gouger airlines (plus to help those who don't want to pay $50-100 for gas at the least...-_-)
The only thing I can say is maybe visit beach but I don't know what its like in Florida winter time. I thought things would still be open but I'm not 100% sure. I'd hate to say stay at home. Hmm. Why not visit a nearby city for a bit?
Its not a stellar vacation, but its nearby and you do physically get away for a brief spell.

Hi Terrych,
I think this is my weird idea for you and I never bother if you don't like it either. My opinion is, you collect your friends on that day and start explaining to your friends about mylot and you will be their referrer...LOL!!!!
Thanks, TERRYCH.
