Where is my prince?

Since I was a little girl I used to read tales about a princess and her prince... the prince will come in a white horse to rescue the princess and they will be happy forever...
So I am waiting for my prince, but I guess there should be something wrong with his horse, because it is taking too long to find me...
What do you think? Did you find your Prince or Princess? How long it took? Are you happy?

Every girl wants to find her prince. For me, it was a knight.
What I had learned is that you need to stop looking so hard because when you do. You won't find what you want. In most aspects of life. You need to stop and concentrate on yourself. Thats when love will find you and your prince will come.
I had almost given up on men. Actually, I was in a rampage because I hated men so much for causing so much problems in my life and the people I cared about.
Then it happened. My knight in a white Firebird came to rescue me from...pretty much myself. He loved me, he cared for me and he understood me. He helps me grow.
You need to let things happen. They will happen when it needs to happen. When your life thinks your ready. If you rush things you'll end up with the wrong answer.

I agree with you, and thanks that I am student againm I actually do not have much time to look for a Prince... since I am sure he is coming... I guess a knight will be good too...
I was just wondering what everybody think about it... a long time ago I stop looking... because I agree with you, the more you look the less you find...
Thanks for your comment!

You'll find someone if you want. I wish you luck in the endeavor.
Personally, I could care less if I find someone or stay single. Too many quotas to meet from my perspective. Your post even proves it somewhat. Define what a Prince would be in your life? I bet there is a chance if a guy met or even surpassed the expectations there would still be something higher that person would have to meet. Or boredom could set in on your part. I'm just pointing that out from my experience and plenty of other guys' too. It maybe hard for you to understand but its easy to get discouraged by someone posting "Looking for Prince".

Well if you think he's taking too long to find you wait till you get to my age (46) and he still hasn't turned up! Seriously I think the main thing is to forget about it and get on with living your life. Things happen when you're not expecting them to - or so I'm told! There again who am I to give advice about it - my relationship history is just one disaster after another lol.

Ah sorry I missed this part. It is indeed good just to focus and live your life. There's lots of fun with or without a companion. That goes for both of you two, and everyone else reading this.
Stiletto, its some of the same things over here. It still hurts but I've learned quite a lot, not just from my own experiences but from many other people I know. And don't think that way about giving advice. At the very least your perspective shines a light on the situation.
And with that, I say good night.

Sometimes I feel the same way, but I also feel that each of the relationship I had help me to understand or learn things on life...
Anyway with or without prince I enjoy my life and live everyday as it was the last one, and I am sure then whenever my prince arrive we are going to be happy... adn same for you, meybe it is taking too long, but I bet all the time you wait for him will be worth it!!
Thanks for your answer!

Could your problem be that you are looking for something that does not exist? Princes and knights in shinning armour are just in fairy tales and so no man can live up the fairy tale stories. Do you really need recued? Just something to think about.

My prince was too busy fixing up the castle, and becoming Ye Mighty Mechanic that it took a while for him to get on his horse. He did, but them some magician sold him a car, so when he drove up at Ye Olden Meeting Place in Ye town of Vancouver, I did not recognize him as a prince until Ye Faire Maiden went after him, but he turned away from her and found me. We started courting and three months later, we were married.

My Nan always used to say to me that *in order to find your Prince Charming, you have to kiss a lot of toads* A few relationships and a failed marriage down the line, I think I may have found my Prince but it took a long time and a lot of toads

When I was single, I also had the same doubt. Please don't worry, your right man is on the way. Keep the faith, sometimes good things will arrive a little bit later. I was married when I was 28 years old. So you know I've really spent a long time waiting for him:)

My prince now enjoying his sleep now on the bed and let me alone in responding to your discussion...LOL!!!
Yes terrych, my prince started his searching for me when I was 15 years old. And he patiently waiting for me until I had finished up my college life. He mentioned to me that he was a staunched prince and it's proven, worth it for his 10 years waiting.
