Do you always wash your hands before eating?

At home or in school, we were taught to wash our hands before eating or before handling some foods. Washing our hands before eating is such a nice way of maintaining and observing cleanliness and personal hygiene to your own selves.
I admit sometimes I forgot to wash my hands before eating; maybe, because I am already hungry and for that reason, I had forgotten to wash my hands.
How about you? Do you always wash your hands before eating or sometimes do you forget it?

Yeah, I always do that.. I am very particular abt that.. Even while going to a restaurant, I always tend to wash my hands before starting my meal.. Its a good habit to wash ur hands.. Sometimes, I do forget, but that's okay, its only smtimes that i forget...

Sometimes, I forget to wash my hands but most of the time, I try to wash them to remove germs and bacterias.

There was a time when I did not consider to wash my hands each time when I would eat my food when I was much younger now I am so aware of how imporatant it is to keep your hands washed and I do it all the time.

Hand washing is like a habit to me... i always do it eventhough i am not about to eat... maybe because my hands sweat a lot...i also like the feel of cold water on my hands... and i love to think that my hands are always clean...
Well washing hands before eating is a good thing to do because it is a good prevention against a lot of diseases...

Hi braveheart07! Yes, we were taught about cleanliness when we were in school and at home. I always wash my hands before eating when I am at home but usually when we eat out, I sometimes have a hand sanitizer with me or when I don't have it, I just go on and eat. hehe.. Yup, I always do. It's important to wash your hands before meals. It's to prevent us from acquiring many diseases that usually comes from our hands like diarrhea, etc. Such a simple task may save us hospitalization or medicine bills.

Yes, I always wash my hand before eating. And now I'm trying to teach to my children to do the same thing. It is a good habits, so I want my children to learn about it too. So far, my children never complain about that. And we also wash our hands after eating and before we go to bed to keep it clean.

hi , i also sometimes forget to wash my hans before eating .sometimes i am so tired and hungry to eat the food without washing the hand .when i am not busy ,i will wash my hands and then enjoy the delicious food.we all know that we should wash ours hands before eating ,we are told that when we are young.but i think nobody can make it always.it is common,i think .

I wash my hands everytime before eating. It's a good way of living. Right? :D There is a Chinese saying, desiseas are got from the mouth. I have to stop the media which pass the food to mouth.

I like washing hands.I wash my hands when I want to eat and drink anything. I never forget once to wash my hands. I have this habit and I wash my hands automatic when I want to eat. So, I hardly catch influenza or other sick

it is really nice and important topic to discuss with anybody i am very gratefull that u add this topic so that i can give u my thinking about this.washing ur hands save u from many dieases beacuse we have to do things outside that might catch some kind of germs on it which become harmfull for our health if we eat our food without washing hands so plz carefull inthis matter beacuse nothing is more important than ur health.......

I always wash my hands before eating or cooking. I understand how important this is for health reasons. Are you ever concerned about food service employees washing their hands before they handle food? Do you think there should be some kind of detection system in place? I was at a wedding once and saw a salad server use the rest room and they did not wash their hands. Then I saw him serving salad. I did not eat salad that night.
