After 10 years, nothing has changed?

I've been using the Internet for 10 years. I have found a few programs here and there that make me a little bit of spending money. Mostly I use the money direct from my Paypal account to pay for my web hosting or domain registrations. I would like to get rich, wouldn't we all?
What gets me is that after ten years online, the programs and schemes that are ripoffs have not changed, and their ads have not changed. They must be continually ripping off newbies. I thought there was some sort of Better Business Bureau for these things online. If there isn't, there should be.

No any organization that control the existence of any website page on the internet. As everybody can have it done as far as they can upload the web materials.
Even though for scammers website page. And we must understand that website is mainly for business networking purposes. They will not change it as far as they can make money from it, and will change it, materials and systems, once found non-productive.

Isn’t that funny – I have not been actively looking for ways to make money online- I should have been 10 years ago- by now maybe I’d be rich- It irks me that there are so many websites that are rip offs.! I agree it would be nice to have a better business bureau for online companies

If only it were true...we'd all be rich (smirk). I don't know why the Internet is such a big gathering place for child molesters and rip off artists. It's kind of scary. I wonder what the percentage breakdown is between the honest ones and the scams and jerks?

Well, the problem is the Scammers are getting Creative in the ways that they are scamming people, and they are going online and looking for Older people who never think to protect themselves, and their Credit, etc. or they are looking for the newbies who may be unaware that there are Scams and Scam sites out there.
And when it comes to earning money, etc. there are a lot of legitimate sites as well. A person just needs to learn to do their homework, and see what will work well for them. I know over the yrs. I have lost a lot of money, and not all of them have come from Scams either. But now I am cautious in what I do and when.

I am new to internet programming. I am wishing that I make it big here. But I must admit, I dunno how. So I am continuously searching for better sites, better programs, better activites, and all those stuff needed to make it. Reading your topic really saddens me, but i hope, after 10 years, I would not be the same.

There is a Better Business Bureau Online, have you tried that? You can report the website but you still need to find the acutal business address to do so. It's true there are a lot of scammers, so people should be more careful and diligent. Buyers beware---as the saying goes.
