After I see a car accident, I'm not scared, but it does make me feel sick to my stomach. It always has. I've been in many car accidents, beginning when I was a child, but I don't think anyone can get used to seeing hurt people, or smashed vehicles that just minutes ago were in pristine condition. I do think a lot of the time after passing a car accident that I am blessed that it wasn't me in the wreck. I never cease to be thankful about that.

I saw one right in front of my eyes and one of the cars turned over twice!
I was so glad I wasn't in it. I was in shock as I was the only person at the scene when it happened and did not know what to do to try and help the lady in the overturned car.

When I am on the roads, I always fear, that I have an accident. It is because I see, that people do not keep rules on the roads. Ususally the innocent rule-keeper people can not avoid to get into big trouble. We need much more traffic controll on the roads. And fee should be more if somebody did not keep the rule. The statisctic about accidents is very bad. As this country is in the middle of Europe, all the European traffic much go through it.

It is not pleasant to see a car accident. They usually happen because somebody is in too much of a hurry. If everyone was patient and slowed down, I think there would be fewer accidents. Seeing an accident reminds me that there is really no hurry. Speeding along in a car usually only saves a few minutes from a journey. I have often had a car overtake me a great speed and found later that that car is only a few feet in front of me at the next traffic lights. And friends have told me of how they did a journey in say 1 hour and when I've driven slower, it only took me 1 hour 10 minutes. Driving fast may save minutes, but the risk of accident is just not worth it.

Hi Laurika.
I met that kind of situation before in fact and I am terrified by it!!
I don't know am I lucky or not but I used to see accident happened in front of me. One fine day, when I was driving, the car which drove in front of me hit a motorcyclist and the motorbike spin and the motorcyclist flied up high and hit the car behind me. Oh my God, that's really Oh My God. Though it didn't involve me but it was really a horrible day for me.

I always say a little thank you to my guardian angel or whoever it is watching over me when I see a car accident. I think, "that could have been me". I am often scared after seeing an accident.

Of course, I feel lucky that It wasn't me or any member in my family who was in the car. I also feel scared. What if we're next to have a car accident. I think a lot of negative things, a lot of what ifs. So, I usually pray whenever I see a car accident.

A little, but I've been in so many accidents or been witness (like I have to hang around to give my name & stuff) that seeing the aftermath doesn't even bother me, unless it ties up traffic then it makes me mad.
Then there was the time I witnessed the train/truck accident.....

Me? I would feel pity on the ones involved on the accident and pray that they are ok and nothig's really bad is gona happen to them.
At the same, i could say I feel so blessed and protected by God to escape such incident.I am just thankful that it didn't happen to me.

Not really, although I do sometimes think that if I had left a bit earlier or later, then I might have been there when it happened, and that, I suppose, is similarly unsettling. What I think instead, really, is what else I can be doing to be sure I have a habit of driving most carefully. Being prepared is not quite the same as being scared, but perhaps they are similar at root.

Everytime I can see car accidents, I always say to myself...ohhh my, their lives ended only until here....how did they live their lives when they are still alive? I don't know my destiny, so I am trying to live a life that I could make my God happy seeing me on His earth. So, everytime I ride on a vehicle, I always ask protection and guidance from my Guardian Angel. I also experienced the public vehicle I was riding nearly met a collission against another, but I fervently pray and call my Guadian Angel and after a loud sounds of the brakes, we were safe, and when I went down, it was only 2 palm-distance between the two vehicle. Many mouths were uttering bad words, but I heard some who praised God and I thank my Guardian Angel and Jesus for saving us.
