Well it's possible. There are the Amish. I'd say that if the Amish can do it and can still be doing it in the time we live in now, than it's possible for anyone to do it. It's not a necessity. It's a want.

Hi Laurentyu, I dont think that I could. Atleast without some things, I love being on my computer, I love all the information on the internet and chatting, and of course forums like this to interact with people from all over the world. If I were to miss anything it would be that. I also have an attraction to my cell phone, I love having it at my beck and call when ever I need to use it. Im not sure how I got along without it before hand! Technology does help us in many ways, and makes some things in life a lot easier. I do think we are too dependent on it, but thats with many things that are not technology based. I guess its how you use it. Some people abuse technology and some will use it for its intended purpose. Bay Lay Gray xx

If my job did not depend on technology, I could live with out it.. there are so many other things I could do then sit and type on a computer. I would miss my friends; but, if it was necessary I could do without the tech..

It is hard to imagine life without modern technology. I would not be happy with the life with no technology as I am not quite used to it. I was wondering how our ancestors lived through in the old days.

What kind of technology do you mean? 20th and 21st century technology like rockets, computers or televisions, 19th century technology like the telephone or phonograph, or much earlier technologies like eyeglasses or paper? ;) Sorry, I'm being facetious. I could probably manage just fine without a lot of newer technologies like the computer or television (though I wouldn't be happy about it), but the telephone, paper, and eye glasses are too important for me!

True. Very true. living without technology is like living with your head shoved under a layer of sand, the height of ignorance.

We have become used to all the techology at hand. Remember when we and even companies were worried that everything would crash at the millineum? I can remember when we did not have instant everything. I know that there is a wealth of information and even money to be made online (I haven't found anything) but what happens if this is compromised? What will we do? Sit around and stare at each other? Hum...

I love technology, and I use it everyday, I feel confortable having it around, but I am sure that if I live in a place where nobody have access to technology I will be happy too...

I think I will survive without any technology to depend to as long as there are machines and tools. Without simple machines like hammer, knife, pulleys, levers I think life would be so difficult and we will be going back in time when our forefathers had to use stones to do everything. I can't imagine myself living in their time. =P
