I have not read the book on "The Secret", but I have seen the movie. It is great. I do believe the law of attraction works and although I am just a novice in the area of the Law of Attraction. I have experienced unexplained manifestations that I would call miracles. Another great reference you can explore is "Ask and it is Given" by Ester and Jerry Hicks - The teachings of Abraham. Ester and Jerry take it a step further, sort of peel back the onion on the theory of the Law of Attraction. There are many more cd's or dvd's that they both have authored. Their teachings is more of an indepth deep dive into frequently asked questions and doubts about what most people face in conjunction with explaining and shedding light on those challenges when it comes down to the Law of Attraction. At the beginning, I had to watch and or listen to Ester and Jerry constantly, because they are so deep that I could not grasp - first hand what they were teaching. However after a while it will grow on you sort of speak. I am not totally there yet, but am striving to make this the cornerstone of my life.

I saw the movie. I think it was dumbed down and hyped up in order to have a more mass appeal, but I also think there were many enlightened people involved in it, both as speakers in the film and as producers of the film. But in my opinion, the movie lost most of its cohesiveness when Esther & Jerry Hicks, who wrote the book "The Law of Attraction: The Basics of the Teachings of Abraham", pulled out of the movie. The law of attraction is at work in every moment of your life and beyond. It is one of the major building blocks of this entire universe... and beyond. But posing that question to a group of people who may or may not know anything about it, and intending to accept the 'group think' as gospel, without taking the initiative to find out for yourself is a fool-hardy approach to such an important topic. I am happy to have found somebody asking about it around here though, because it's one of my main interests!
