How do you feel about the very first snow fall on the ground, reminding you of what is to come? Are you excited, depressed or thinking of how much shoveling your going to have to do this winter?Im excited this morning when i woke up to an inch of snow in my yard and nice big fluffy ones still falling.I feel to run outside and stick my tongue out to catch one, hehehe.:):)Did i tell you im excited??!!Haha

Hi peanutjar,
I must admit that when I see the first snowfall I do get a little excited, but here in Canada we see snow by the buckets so after the second or third snowfall it gets old fast! I hate the cold too, so that doesn't really help!
Love & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

I love snow but unfortunately, in England, particularly the southern part of England where I life, we rarely get any. We did get a sprinkling in January, this year though. I'll show you a pic of my garden.
When I lived in Germany, we used to get a lot of snow, and I loved it. But here... not very often, although I'd really like to see snow on the ground on Christmas Eve and all through Christmas. First snow is so clean and glistening white too.
Brightest Blessings.

Hi Darkwing:)I also love the first snow and especially when its fluffy and stuck on the fir trees like a white blanket. Its hard not to think of christmas without snow.Almost every chraistmas day it snows alittle on that day with big light snow flakes that fall like feathers to the ground,it sets the mood for that day.

I get kinda excited if there is enough snow on the ground. My kids get to go out and play in it and I get to watch (Yay!) But mostly I start thinking about how the cold will affect my bronchial tubes, and hope that I don't have to go anywhere in it, because I have to walk a mile to the bus stop in the stuff.

My first reaction? Ooh thats pretty...damn I so need to move to the islands....
The cold weather months do a serious number on my body and I go through horrible pain so as "pretty" as it is, I can definately do without it these days..

Hi,haha, yes thats one of mine also, hehe.Im also staring to feel the pain in my right arm by the shoulder. Its a deep aching pain that started up again a week ago when the air changed,ow i wake up stiff and try to maneuver my arm around to get it to loosen up.I will start lifting weights again to get my muscle in shape,it helps get rid of the pain.Like psysiotheraphy.

I don't actually get any snow in the place where I live ..!!
But I experienced it in another state of my country..!!
When I first saw the snow flakes..falling down it actually made me happy. It cheers me up so much like no one else can..!!
I love it when snow falls. BUt we actually got stuck due to heavy snow fall and our car got stuck 10 km away from our hotel..!
SO we actually went to our hotel on foot with 2 feet snow on road and you know how roads of hills are, you can't walk easily on such roads you have to climb...!! and on top of that it was snowing heavily!!! and did I forget to mention the loads of luggage we had with us..!!!
Well that was bad experience but I still love it when snow falls.
It makes such a beatufule scenary out there. Eery thing is white and beautiful..!!
All trees are so silver and shiney..!!
And so cold too..!!
It makes this beautiful world more beautiful..!!

well If I see snow out of my window first I will check my eyes and temperature. Second I will go check if it is a real snow and then I will call someone to check that it is not just me. You see here in Australia (where I live) we dont have snow. So to see snow outside my house would be a miracle. After I get over the shock I will get my son and go out and enjoy every last bit of snow.

I was very excited when I saw the snow flying in the sky. Even the winter is very cold in the place I live, we cannot always see snow there. The second when I saw it, I would rush out immediately to enjoy it. It lasted shortly. I had to catch the chance to feel it outside. :D

I love snow, I just don´t like it when I get my feet frozen.
When I see snow I feel like a child again, eager to play with a new toy.
Where I live never snows, but in the north of my country does. People living in south, like I do, go on porpus to the north of the country to see the snow and to practice snowsports. I´ve been there quite a few times and the memories I keep are of extreme joy and fun!

This is a magical time during Winter, the first snow fall. I love the way the snow glistens in the morning, before it gets ruined by footprints & dogs! :-) This year is especially exciting for my family because my daughter gets to enjoy the snow. She was too young last year! My youngest will still have to wait until next year. I must admit, I hate shoveling snow though!!
