So this morning I had to call to make an appointment for another test that my doctor wants me to have so I can bring it to him next time I go. Well this lady was so nice and friendly on the phone I didnt mind talking to her.I dont know why some people are so nasty when we talk to them on the phone. I guess they hate their jobs.LOL Thought I would share with you. Have you ever had an a bad experience with setting up an appointment on the phone?

Good customer service and professionalism never fails to create a lasting impression for people. When the person at the other end of the phone is willing to serve, we can tell from the tone of voice.
I do not have bad experience in setting up appointment via the phone, however, I do have a very bad experience with a bank employee when I called to cancel my credit card.
It is safe to say I'm totally turn off by the lack of professionalism shown and I've told him and his superior outright that I'll never return as a customer.

Hi Terry,
I have had both good and bad experiences while dealing with someone on the phone. I think it makes a big difference when someone changes their tone of voice and/or actually wants to talk to you and help you if they can. I have also noticed that they seem to be friendlier first thing in the morning, but the more time passes on the crankier they get lol. Hope you have a great day!
Love & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

More than the people who attends the call to fix appointments in my opinion i think the person who makes the call has to be polite too so that the conversation is pleasant...if one person is pleasant enough the other person would have no reason to be bad whatsoever be the situation!! :)

Not so much setting up an appointment but have when getting help making payment arrangements for a bill...I will tell them to change their attitude or I will not continue to talk with them..If you don't like your job, get a new one...Now, if you don't mind, this is your job now and I would appreciate your help...If they don't help me I call someone else...I do love it when people are nice....I am nice and I deserved to be treated nice as well...

Yes.Bad customs may hurt someone, especially those who has passion.I have something strange like you.Why do they treat us like that?Only because we are unfamiliar friends?I sometimes call the strange man only because of work.If I want to call my friend, they must be very kind to me just as friends.I wont call them very much,so when they receive my phone,"they feel happy" they say to me.Thanks!

It is nice when you get someone on the phone, that knows how to act on the phone. Most places anymore act like you are disturbing them. It makes for a much better experience. I am glad that you found someone that was easy to talk to.

When I was the assistant manager in my last job I often had to tell the other employees to answer the phone with a smile in their voice. It is important for the person on the other end to have a caring person to speak to. The last thing they want is an arrogant person who is having a bad day. I have always believed that you treat others the way you want to be treated.

My husband and I both go to the same doctor. He is really nice. I've been going for about 10 years, he's been going a couple now. Anyway, his reception staff are rude and abrupt on the phone and many times not very helpful. He had to make an appointment at the last minute because he was refilling his prescriptions and the pharmacy had messed up and he had no refills left. He was at the time working without days off and told them he wouldn't be able to come in late in the day having fasted all day so they could test his blood. The woman on the phone said, "whatever". Is that nice, or what. We just have a really bad impression of them all now. This wasn't the only time.

I have had pretty good experiences with people when making an appointment for the doctors or dentist or what not. I find though when its in the mornings they are very friendly and polite, by the afternoon they sound tired and grumpy lol don't know why that is, not enough sugar? haha
