What would you do if you were driving down a small street and some children were playing by the road/in their dooryard and threw a rock at your passing vechicle hitting it?Would you get out furious and go see the parents or talk to the child themselves. It happened to me yesterday as i was going to pick up my daughter at pre-school.A bunch of kids were playing around the age of 5 and 6 yearsold, the boy threw a rock chipping a small piece of paint on my door.I got out and yelled, the mom came out and just looked at me with a smirk and kind of laughed! And told her son to come in the house and shut the door on me while i was standing there in the yard.I wanted to knock her in the head, she seemed like she wasnt all there anyway and as bad as her kid too.Would you of been upset more at the mother or child?

Hi peanutjar! I always find it really sad when you come accross a mother who either doesn't know or doesn't care to know what her child(ren) are doing. I couldn't imagine not knowing what my daughter was doing, and trust me if I looked out my window and saw her throwing rocks at cars she'd be in a heap of trouble. If I were that lady I would have apologized, offered to pay for any repairs that your car may need, made my daughter apologize, and the money for your repairs would come out of her allowance! Hope you had a great, fun, and safe Hallowe'en! Love & Hugzz, PurpleTeddyBear.

She dressed up as a nice witch and her face was painted also for the first time,Usually she does not like that.I took pictures but still have to go get ink to make them on my machine,i forgot to today and will tomorrow. Her dress was black with alot of netting and orange and light green in it,very frilly with a long black wig that had orange streaks on the sides of her head, haha. It was so cute on her especially with the makeup. So you did dress her up as tigger?Yay!!:) Peanutjar:)

Hi purpleteddybear.Im the same as you when it comes to my daughter also. These kind of people here are better off being ignored and not having them on your bad side as they tend to be quite abit revengeful and wreckless. My daughter and i had a wonderful time and she got a bgi box of cany. She worked her little butt off running house to house, haha. We started at 5:30 and stopped at 7:45pm.It was her who decided to stop.I kept asking and she said "not yet,i dont have enough"hahaha.so cute!!!Hope you enjoyed it as well my friend:) Peanutjar:)

Hi TerryZ I almost went to the door after she sort of shut it on me,but i came back home and my boyfriend said it just needs to be sanded and waxed to take the mark off.He said "next time dont go that way because you know the kind of people that live around there".I could of kicked him,but its true what he said, haha. I would definately be mad at the mother, because she is allowing this behavior without punishment. If I were you I would have called the police on both of them to make a report, and then sue for the damages to my car, no matter how small. That should teach her that she is responsible for her son's actions and should take a more active role in parenting, for its her who will have to pay.

I would have been livid!!!That's the only word I'm allowed to use on myLot to describe how mad I would have been. I would have called the police snd have them tell the disfunctionl woman that it is not Ok to let her son throw rocks at anything or anyone. That's not only ridiculous it's dangerous and if this kid is doing these type of things at this age and getting away with it what kind of a message is this sending out and what will he be doing at age 16 ??? Perhaps stealing a vehicle ??? You obviously had to work to pay for the vehicle you drive and there's just no way this should have happened. Take Care my friend.

That's terrible..I'm glad you did yell at the kid, but it didn't seem to do much good, did it...I think I would have been more mad at the mother for not saying anything to her kid, or apologizing to you -- but instead smirked at you..

Hi pyewacket.I was insulted and mad at the mom,she acted more like a child than a parent. You dont know how much i wanted to wipe her smirk off, haha:{There are certain kind of people on this earth who dont care about themselves or other people and they are a perfect example of this. Peanutjar:)

I have had kids around that were like this but there is no point talking to the parent because they got it from somewhere! The parent. At this age they are still most influenced by their family. So ya I would be mad at the woman for raiser her child to be a punk.

Hi vicki, yes its true that they got this idea from the parent as we are role models for them at such a young age as they were. Peanutjar:).

well my friend i would of been very upset with the mother, and ofcourse the children for what they did but more the mother because how she handled the sitation with the smirk on her face, those kids need to be taught a good lesson and the mother needs to be tought a lesson or two.i would of called the police and filed a report and maybe that would of teached them all a lesson, someone needs a swift kick in the tush lol.pattie
