The only time I've used a pencil was when I was in College a few years ago and had to use it for my math classes. I really don't like using them. When was the last time you used a pencil? Do you pefer one over the other?

I hate using pencils. I like to use a pen because I find it flows more smoothly when I'm trying to write, and it doesn't smudge as much, well at least some pens don't. Pencils just seem so rough, and smudge, and you always end up with it all over your hands at the end of the day. I did use a pencil on Tuesday though for a test. That's usually the only time I really use one.

It's always best to use a pencil when we take a test...that way it's easier to change an answer we don't like.

I prefer pens to pencils - I tend to use pens more often then pencils because the pencils don't show up on my scanner. I sometimes draw with pens and scan the drawing into the computer, the computer can correct any mistakes I make.

The amount of emails I send are legion. * The price of stamps is a King's ransom just to send a note to someone. Snail mail is sent to only those with out computers. I can count them on my fingers.

I'm pretty sure using a pencil to write a check is illegal because it's so easy to change.

I almost always use a pen. I have a large collection of them. We always have plenty of both around as we are a home school family and we are always writing something. I think it is important for kids to use both as writing styles are different with each one of them.

I used pencil when I want to sketch a drawing. I use pen when I have to fill form or something to do with work.

I actually prefer using a pencil than a pen. I use a mechanical pencil. A pen always dries out on me and it's frustrating. Also with a pencil, my writing is neater since I can erase anything if I make a mistake. I only use a pen when I need to, like affixing signatures and other data on information sheets or cards.

I often use a pen for my work.. I used the pencil during my college days when we had to draw out things in our assignments.. But now that I am out of college, there's not much need of the pencil nemore... I last used the pencil 4-5 mnths ago...

I use pencils all the time. I use them to jot down notes, and to write down my budget. I use pens to write down things in my film index, and other things that want to keep.

I often use a pen when taking down notes back at school. I only use a pencil when we had to draw something. I cannot use a pencil when taking down notes because notes are very vital to us, it's like our need to survive school ^__^;;. without it you're as good as a failure in exams unless you have a good memory. and if I use a pencil there's a tendency that it would be erased as times goes by unlike with a pen. and in my case, my notes are important not just for me but for some of my classmates, because they used to borrow my notes and photocopy it. ^__^;;

I can't remember the last time I used a pencil, ctry. Every since I used my first pen, I've been hooked, and write everything with a pen. You wouldn't believe the trouble this has caused me when I am doing one of my crossword puzzles. It makes matters worse that I don't like the erasable kind.

hi friend as for me the last time i used a pencil is during my board exam last july.they require as to shade multiple choices questions using pencils and not ballpen. of course i prefer ballpen than pencil because its more readable and understandable when you wrote using your pen.good day.

I guess anyone who has had to take any type of exam has had to use a pencil since that's the only thing allowed.

Hi ctry, When working on my puzzles, I prefer to use a pencil. That way if I make a mistake, I can erase it and write in the correct answer. At work, pencils are not allowed. Everything has to be written in ink, because of company policy. Our paperwork becomes company property, and can not show change. It has to be accurate. I personally have a large collection of ball point pens that I keep handy at all times. Happy posting..

I'm bad because when I do crossword puzzles I even do them in pen. That way I can't make any mistakes.
