I'm the same! I'm terrified of heights! I also have a strange fear of big masses of water (like the sea) I live on the banks of Loch Ness in Scotland and when I stand at the edge of the water it terrifies me!
Also the usual one... spiders!! eurgh!!

I can't get close enough to kill them!! I used to suck them up with a vacuum cleaner lol... then someone told me they can lay eggs inside your vacuum cleaner!!
I'm also really really scared of Slugs... I have no idea why... they can't hurt you. When I see one my stomach flips and my whole body tenses up!! I hate them! I think I have a vague memory of standing on one bare foot as a child, that's probaby where it's from.
I once watched a tv show with a woman who had a terrible phobia of buttons!! Normal buttons on clothes!

I am also an altitude sickness type of person, Last time I went to a breathtaking height of 421 meters at KL Tower, at first place I cannot look down because of my altitude sickness, it took sometime to soothe my mind to accept fearless.

Yeah, I can see your point there about heights. I am afraid of snakes. I can't stand them. I don't mind looking at them when they are caged up and won't come after me but if I am faced with one, I'm not sure I'll survive to tell the tale.

maybe soaking your body in the pool for the mean time will help you overcome your fear. and do some swimming classes.. good luck!
